Today I’m joined on the island by Pastor Dave Wade. Dave is an Assemblies of God minister, having been in full time ministry since 2001. He currently leads Bridge Church, based in Lincoln, with his wife Sian, and provides oversight to another local AoG church. He is also an approved tutor at Missio Dei providing teaching at their intensive weeks. He is a father to 3 children and is also a registered foster carer with Sian.

Today I’m joined on the island by Tom Geatches. Tom is the Chief Operating Officer for the One Church Network, which has locations 4 locations in the UK and 5 locations in Zimbabwe. Tom also oversees One Church Gloucester’s community and missions activities, and is part of the AoG Kids team, pioneering Young Lions Juniors. Tom is married to Laura and they have three daughters, Keziah, Elise & Ariella. Tom loves watching pretty much any sport, however particularly enjoys putting himself through the pain of being a Man Utd fan!

Eliana is the Principal of the International Bible Training Institute, a Pentecostal Bible college based in Burgess Hill, West Sussex. Originally from Italy, Eliana has spent 20 years in Italy, 20 years in Spain and almost 20 years in the UK. Eliana is married to her husband John.

Today I’m joined on the island by Pastor Glyn Barrett. In September 2007, Glyn & Sophia pioneered !Audacious Church, an AoG Church in central Manchester. It has grown from 50 people in a back street warehouse into a multi-site, multi-generational church of 7 locations - 3 locations in and around Manchester plus Chester, Cardiff, Sheffield and Geneva. Their central location has an active congregation of 4,000 people. They are currently about to break ground on a brand new purpose-built Church facility which will include within it a 2,500 seater auditorium.
A powerful and sought-after communicator, Glyn's preaching and inspirational teaching continue to challenge and grow people of all generations throughout the world. He has been a regular speaker at many of the AoG conferences around the globe and continuously helps leaders break growth barriers in churches of all sizes. He also has strong connections with some of the most influential church movements and ministries in the world, with many of them included in his friendship circle.
Married to Sophia for 28 years they have two children, Georgia and Jaedon. Glyn is passionate about Assemblies of God and the Church as a whole in the UK and always seeks to champion local leaders to become all that they can be. He is currently studying for his Docorate in Leadership and Global Perspectives recognising the ongoing need in himself to grow and develop.

Nick is also AoG GB’s area lead for the southeast. Nick is married to Debbie who is in ministry with Nick. Nick has 3 children and 3 grandchildren.

Today on the island I’m joined by… myself! That’s right I’ve had a break in recording Podcasts over Christmas so I’ve got 2 weeks free in the schedule before I’ve got new guests on so I thought why not talk to you about my favourite dessert and 3 favourite resources in the first episode, and then I’m going to give some of the learnings that I’ve gleaned from interviewing great leaders in the second episode.
So firstly, a little bit about myself. I’m Chris, as you well know, and I’m the project manager for Continuous Professional Development with Assemblies of God GB. I also work for my local church, One Church, in the area of strategic development and project management, and I also help churches and church leaders on the side with strategy and organisational development. I live in Gloucester with my wife Amy, who I’ve been married to for 14 years and we have two wonderful kids, Indie and Judah.
