The Pittsburgh Pirates are 11-8 as they head into a weekend series back at PNC Park against the Boston Red Sox. The bats have gone silent over their last stretch with Ke'Bryan Hayes dealing with some back tightness and nobody picking up the slack. Everyone seems to be trending in the wrong direction at the moment, searching for answers as to how to get back on track. While the starting pitching continues to provide solid start after solid start, the same can't be said about the bullpen either. With Bednar and Chapman both having their issues over the last week. Where should the panic meter be? Let's discuss!

The Pittsburgh Penguins continue to scratch and claw as the NHL Playoffs draw near. Just one point out of a playoff spot with 4 games to go, they've at least made things interesting. They also have games against the teams they are chasing in the standings. Michael Bunting continues to fit like a glove. Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin are leading the charge. Alex Nedeljkovic has steadied things in net. This has all led to them going 6-1-3 in their last 10 games to put themselves in a decent spot. Let's discuss all of this and more!

The Pittsburgh Pirates are off to a 9-3 start through theearly portions of the 2024 MLB season. The team is getting contributions up and down the lineup and the pitching both from the rotation and bullpen have exceeded expectations early on. While they've won 9 out of their 12 games, it hasn't all been sunshine and rainbows. Closer David Bednar has struggled out of the gate, having blown 3 save oppurtunities already. Having missed extended time due to a lat issue in Spring Training, is an IL stint in the cards? Can Aroldis Chapman and company hold it down in the meantime? Henry Davis, Andrew McCutchen and Jack Suwinski's bats have yet to come North as well, but the likes of Ke'Bryan Hayes, Bryan Reynolds, Connor Joe, etc...have more than made up for it! Let's discuss!
