Smitty and Tyler are back to discuss all things Pittsburgh Steelers. Mike Tomlin was able to lead his team to victory over Sean McVay and the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday at SoFi Stadium. Kenny Pickett and the offense once again came alive in the 4th quarter to give the team just enough for victory. The return of Diontae Johnson to form a duo with George Pickens was a welcomed addition. Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren were able to find their groove as the game went on running behind Dan Moore Jr., Isaac Seumalo, Mason Cole, James Daniels and Chuks Okorafor. On the defensive side of things, TJ Watt once again made a game-changing play, this time intercepting Matthew Stafford to flip the game. Minkah Fitzpatrick did his job keeping Cooper Kupp and check and Joey Porter Jr. took yet another step towards being CB1 for the team. Let's talk about all of it!

Smitty and Tyler are back to discuss the week that was for the Pittsburgh Penguins. After an opening night loss to the Chicago Blackhawks, the Pens bounced back winning both games of the back-to-back against the Washington Capitals and Calgary Flames. Evgeni Malkin, Sidney Crosby and Jake Guentzel have all gotten out to fast starts in terms of production, but how about newcomer Reilly Smith? The way he has slotted in with Geno on that second line has been awesome to watch. Chemistry is something that takes time to build, but they appear to have quite a bit already. While the team continues to get nothing from their bottom 6, they also haven't gotten any goals from their defensemen through 3 games. Mike Sullivan's team returned to the ice to kick off their 2023-24 campaign on Tuesday evening playing host to rookie Connor Bedard and the Chicago Blackhawks. After going up 2-0 on the back of goals from Bryan Rust and Sidney Crosby, the team did what it did several times last season. They blew a lead late and ended up losing in regulation. In what looked like a continuation of the previous season, the main thing that plagued them and prevented them from extending their playoff streak last season, reared it's ugly head again. Smitty and Tyler discuss the Pittsburgh Steelers loss to the Houston Texans in a 30-6 blowout loss. Pretty much everything went wrong for Mike Tomlin's team at NRG Stadium on Sunday. Kenny Pickett not only played poorly but got hurt taking a sack. Pat Freiermuth, Dan Moore Jr. and DeMarvin Leal also left the game with injuries. From start to finish, Mike Tomlin, Matt Canada and Teryl Austin were just outclassed by DeMeco Ryans, Bobby Slowik and company. CJ Stroud was awesome as he diced up TJ Watt, Alex Highsmith, Minkah Fitzpatrick and company. Tomlin's changes include padded practice on Wednesday along with more playing time for Joey Porter Jr., Keeanu Benton and Desmond King. With John Harbaugh, Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens coming to town on Sunday, where are we with this team? Can they right the ship?

Mitch Keller broke the franchise record for most strikeouts in a season by a right-handed pitcher and the team overcame the largest deficit in franchise history. After trailing 9-0 to the Cincinnati Reds, the team stormed back to win 13-12.
