Smitty and Tyler are back to discuss all things Pittsburgh Penguins. Mike Sullivan's team has played really good hockey over the last 6 weeks or so and find themselves very much in the playoff mix, despite sitting 7th in the Metro Division as of right now. While the Power Play struggles have continued, so has impressive play in net, dominance from Sidney Crosby's line and getting enough contributions throughout the rest of the lineup to win more nights than not. The team has struggled to find the right combinations, and high-priced free agent Ryan Graves has been demoted to a third-pairing role, with PO Joseph jumping into the Top 4. Can the Pens continue to win games and stay in the mix? Let's discuss!

Smitty and Tyler are back to discuss all things Pittsburgh Steelers. Mike Tomlin's team qualified for the NFL playoffs thanks to a victory over the Baltimore Ravens and getting help in the form of a Tennessee Titans victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars. They will head to Buffalo to take on Josh Allen and the Bills. They go in as a double-digit underdog for this contest as we sit here right now, so are we giving them any chance to be able to advance to the Divisional round? What's the path for victory? We know Mason Rudolph will remain the starting quarterback after rattling off 3 consecutive wins. Najee Harris has played his best ball as a pro over the last few weeks, and the team will need that to continue. They'll have to go forward without TJ Watt, who they lost to a knee injury on Saturday. They should get some reinforcements back in the form of Minkah Fitzpatrick and Damontae Kazee. Let us know how you're feeling about this one in the comments!

Smitty and Tyler are back to discuss all things Pittsburgh Penguins. The team ended the month of December having just 3 games in which they didn't secure at least one point in. They seem to have stabilized themselves a bit and are very much in the thick of things. This comes despite not having an even league average power play and meh production within the bottom six. One area where the Penguins have gotten solid play more often than not is in net. Whether it be Tristan Jarry or Alex Nedeljkovic. The latter has really impressed much more as of late and it brings into question if Mike Sullivan should try to roll with the hot hand a little bit more. The Ryan Graves contract continues to age poorly in year one as he was recently demoted to the team's third pairing. What if anything can be done here in both the short and long term? Let's get into it!

Smitty and Tyler are back to discuss all things Pittsburgh Steelers. Mike Tomlin's team still has their playoff hopes alive as they head to Baltimore to take on the Ravens in their regular season finale. They need a win and to get some help from the Dolphins over the Bills or Titans over the Jaguars (or some other much less likely scenarios) to clinch a spot. Following 3 consecutive losses to the Cardinals, Patriots and Colts, it didn't even look like being in this position was realistic, but here we are. Mason Rudolph has helped lead the Steelers to back-to-back wins over the Cincinnati Bengals and Seattle Seahawks. Despite Kenny Pickett being healthy enough to return, Rudolph will still operate as QB1. Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren continue to look like one of the league's best duos and the offensive line had their best game of the season on Sunday. Can they have a repeat performance? How different could things look in the secondary with Patrick Peterson playing at safety and Minkah Fitzpatrick on his way back? Let's dive into it!

Smitty and Tyler are back to discuss the latest with the Pittsburgh Pirates. The team re-signed Andrew McCutchen to a one-year deal worth $5 million for the 2024 season. A no-brainer move that makes sense all around is done and gives us all something to look forward to this upcoming season. The team also signed Martin Perez to a one-year $8 million contract to add to their rotation. Perez won the World Series with the Rangers this past season and was an All-Star the previous season. The team is also reportedly working on a trade to upgrade the rotation even more for 2024 and beyond according to Jason Mackey. What does this team need to have happen to compete? Let's dive in!

Smitty and Tyler are back to discuss all the latest surrounding the Pittsburgh Penguins. The team's season of mixed results continued since we last spoke with a blowout loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs followed by a victory over the Minnesota Wild. Ryan Graves early struggles have continued and have us questioning the short- and long-term implications of his deal. As the Penguins have gotten guys back in the fold like Rickard Rakell, Noel Acciari and Chad Ruhwedel, Valtteri Puustinen has kept his spot in the team's top 6. The early returns have been encouraging for him and even when Bryan Rust returns, it makes you question how Mike Sullivan should construct the lineup. Finally, we gush about Sidney Crosby yet again and how incredible his age 36 season has been. Let's get into it!

Smitty and Tyler are back to discuss all things Pittsburgh Steelers. The team lost it's third consecutive game to the Indianapolis Colts on Saturday to put them outside of the playoff race. Mason Rudolph replaced Mitch Trubisky in this one once it got out of hand and could start on Saturday against the Cincinnati Bengals if Kenny Pickett is unable to return for the contest. George Pickens made plenty of headlines over the last few days after showing no effort to block on a Jaylen Warren run, saying people that don't play the game can't criticize him and saying the reason he didn't block was to avoid a potential injury. Mike Tomlin, Eddie Faulkner and even Allen Robinson have also had to speak about the situation. We then take questions about Mike Tomlin and George Pickens future amongst other things. Let's discuss all of this and more.

Smitty and Tyler are back to discuss all things Pittsburgh Pirates. The Pirates off-season has been underwhelming to say the least. This seems like the right time to add to the roster via free agency/trade and as we sit here right now, the team has done very little to improve their roster externally. They added Marco Gonzales via trade from the Atlanta Braves and signed Rowdy Tellez and Ali Sanchez. The Sanchez move came on the heels of losing promising youngster Endy Rodriguez for the entire 2024 season. The team has suggested Henry Davis will finally see more time behind the plate, but we will see if that holds true. How will the Pirates continue to fill out their roster? Let's discuss!

Smitty and Tyler are back to discuss the latest surrounding the Pittsburgh Penguins. The team came up 0-2 on their Florida trip against the Lightning and Panthers, but have won back to back games against the Coyotes and Canadiens since. The team has scored 4 power play goals on their last 8 attempts over those 2 games and continued to get solid goaltending whether it's been Tristan Jarry or Alex Nedeljkovic. Valtteri Puustinen has been a spark for the team while playing Evgeni Malkin and Reilly Smith while also seeing time on the team's top power play unit. Can the team continue to ride this success into their next 2 games against the Toronto Maple Leafs and Minnesota Wild?
