  • Watching Its A Wonderful Life Is One Thing Jimmy Hawkins Takes Us Deep Into The Soul
"You really had a wonderful life. Don't you see what a mistake it would be to throw it away?" -CLARENCEIn this special book, Jimmy Hawkins helps us focus on the true meaning behind the classic holiday movie. It's not just the message or its many famous lines but rather the motivation behind the creation of the film and director Frank Capra's unrelenting vision for what it should be.As a boy, Jimmy played George Bailey's youngest son, Tommy. And he has spent the eight decades since living out the heart of the story and becoming arguably the world's foremost expert on the movie. Filled with unpublished facts that the author has collected about the cast and crew, this book gives a clearer understanding of what they all brought to the scripted pages.Through excerpts from the screenplay, never-before-seen photos, and a lifetime of friendship with both Frank Capra and the stars of the movie, Hawkins guides us to discover why this story still touches the spirit decades after its release. Because It's a Wonderful Life is not just George Bailey's or Frank Capra's story-it's the story of all of us, and of many generations to come.

  • Dr Zahi Hawass Is The Real Indiana Jones The Man With The Hat
An expansive new documentary chronicling the extraordinary life, influence, and global legacy of world-renowned Egyptologist Dr. Zahi Hawass aka "the real life Indiana Jones" will be released worldwide on January 20, 2026. Tthe film offers unprecedented access to the man who transformed how the modern world understands ancient Egypt.Directed by acclaimed documentarian Jeffrey Roth (The Wonder of It All, HBO's 41, CNN Films' President in Waiting), the film blends epic history, intimate character study, and real-time geopolitical tension into one cinematic journey-captured across Egypt's most sacred and rarely filmed archaeological sites. With his iconic fedora and commanding presence, Dr. Hawass became the real-life inspiration for Hollywood's original Indiana Jones and the most recognizable face of Egyptology for generations. The Man with the Hat takes audiences inside 4,000-year-old tombs, newly opened excavations, and historic locations never before seen on camera, many filmed for the first time with full access granted by Egyptian authorities. At its core, the film traces the extraordinary journey of a boy from a small village in Egypt's Nile Delta who rose to become one of TIME magazine's 100 Most Influential People, Egypt's former Minister of Antiquities, a global cultural ambassador, and fierce protector of heritage, and ultimately the world's foremost interpreter of ancient Egypt. Director Jeffrey Roth brings cinematic scope and a deeply personal perspective to the project, filming on location throughout Egypt under extraordinary circumstances, including active regional conflict during production. No single individual has done more to protect Egypt's antiquities or bring ancient history to= global audiences. Dr. Hawass' groundbreaking work - including investigations into Cleopatra's burial site, the death of King Tutankhamun, and major new discoveries throughout Egypt - reshaped both scholarship and popular culture. As cultural heritage faces renewed threats amid geopolitical instability, The Man with the Hat captures a living legend in the twilight of his most ambitious undertakings, offering rare insight into the personal cost, global responsibility, and enduring impact of safeguarding humanity's shared past. Nearly every major studio and international network has relied on Dr. Hawass as their gateway to ancient Egypt, underscoring his unparalleled role in shaping what the world sees and understands about antiquity."The Man with the Hat grew from my lifelong fascination with ancient Egypt - from watching programs where Dr. Hawass was always the one who transported you back in time. I knew this had to be a human story set against the grandeur of Egypt itself. We shot for weeks across the country's most stunning archaeological landscapes. During our final days of filming, conflict erupted just 170 miles from our base. Some crew members left. Others stayed. The volatility, the uncertainty - it all became part of the story. Filming with Dr. Hawass is its own phenomenon. Crowds appear instantly. You see how deeply Egypt loves him and how recognized he is around the world. My goal was to explore the man behind the legend - the tireless, complex figure who has shaped how the world understands ancient Egypt."

  • The Daily Mess Whats The Good And Bad About Printing What We See In Our Head
I’m always asking questions.  The fun begins when you start researching for answers. Such as…   Wouldn’t it be great if we could print the photographs we see inside our imaginations?  Plus…why it’s not a good idea if want to print the photos inside our imaginations.   I’m Arroe…  I am a daily writer.  A silent wolf.  I stand on the sidelines and do nothing but watch, listen study then activate.  I call it The Daily Mess.  A chronological walk through an everyday world.  Yes, it’s my morning writing.  As a receiver of thoughts and ideas, we as people tend to throw it to the side and deal with it later.  When a subject arrives, I dig in.  It’s still keeping a journal!  By doing the research the picture becomes clearer.  This is the Daily Mess…

  • Shannan Kym Didn't Just Write A Book She Lived It Answers Within You
Shannan Kym grew up in a family where addiction, violence, and extreme dysfunction were normalized. Robbed of her childhood, she was forced to grow up at a very young age. After not graduating from high school and leaving her family, she was filled with self-loathing and shame. Suppressing her feelings, Shannan became an alcoholic. For years, she abused her body, gained excessive weight, and let herself be taken advantage of by toxic people, including marrying a narcissist. She experienced career highs and lows and suffered the loss of a child. Eventually, Shannan hit rock bottom, but on August 17, 2019, everything changed. That day, Shannan made up her mind to stop letting addiction control her life. She also decided to get real, let go of her past hurts, embrace forgiveness, and focus on living each day with gratitude, purpose, light, and love. In her new book, FIND THE ANSWERS WITHIN YOU: Ten Pathways Toward Self-Discovery Shannan breaks out her book in three sections, not only revealing her tragedies to triumphs but also ten pathways for any reader to be inspired to live by:   In Part I, Shannan tells her story of trauma and addiction. The youngest of eight, Shannan was four when her father, a violent alcoholic, took his own life. Soon after, her eldest brother, at age 20, became the abusive, hard-drinking man of the house. Broken, twisted, and cruel, Walter took pleasure in pinching, hitting, punching, kicking, bullying, and berating Shannan and her sisters—enabled by their mother. To escape the fear and hatred she felt toward her brother, Shannan turned to alcohol in high school. For many years after, she continued to seek solace in bottles of wine, which only aggravated her insecurities, anxiety, and depression. Part II follows Shannan’s healing journey. In this section, Shannan lets readers in on what she learned—from her hellish childhood, toxic relationships, troubled marriage, and determination to change—to help them draw lessons from their own experiences. Stressing how self-worth begins with awareness, Shannan reveals how she came to speak her truth about being an addict, identify and manage her triggers for drinking, and got out of being stuck in her own story. She also shares how she took responsibility for her actions, forgave and said goodbye to those who hurt her, overcame self-criticism and perfectionism, committed to healthy eating, exercise, and treating her body with care, and cultivated a mindset of gratitude. Ultimately, Shannan recognized trauma as a gift for what it taught her, about others and herself, and how it led her to discover her life’s purpose.
