Arroe Collins: Unplugged & Totally Uncut

The Chef's Garden premieres with back-to-back episodes on Monday, January 27 on FYI. In each half hour episode, The Chef's Garden brings viewers to the farm and into its industrial kitchen, the Culinary Vegetable Institute, where Farmer Lee and his chef friends-some of the most celebrated names in the industry including Emma Bengtsson, Curtis Duffy, Jenner Tomaska, and Rachael Ray-use the inspiration from the farm to experiment and cook together. Utilizing the ingredients around them, the chefs create dishes ranging from beat granita with cured salmon and chilled corn soup to Thai spiced shepherd's pie and crab meat stuffed burrata with roasted watermelon and tomatoes.

I’m always asking questions.  The fun begins when you start researching for answers. Such as… Why are grocery store prices so high?  Plus…do we have a cold, the flu or is it allergies?  I’m Arroe…  I am a daily writer.  A silent wolf.  I stand on the sidelines and do nothing but watch, listen study then activate.  I call it The Daily Mess.  A chronological walk through an everyday world.  Yes, it’s my morning writing.  As a receiver of thoughts and ideas, we as people tend to throw it to the side and deal with it later.  When a subject arrives, I dig in.  It’s still keeping a journal!  By doing the research the picture becomes clearer.  This is the Daily Mess…

Thanks for being part of the conversation I am the Poet In The Forest. A children series I penned out in the 1990s. None of it would be possible if it wasn’t for this forest in South Charlotte, NC. I talk about it so much that I thought maybe it’s time you get to meet all that inspires me. Thanks for being part of the conversation

Not everyone finds their way to the other side of darkness. Yet, there is hope in witnessing the depth and commitment of a person willing to try to be better without knowing exactly how. In RAISED BY WOLVES, POSSIBLY MONSTERS: FROM MOBSTER TO REIKI MASTER - author MICHAEL SWERDLOFF captures his own struggle to transcend his past of crime and abuse - and imagine an entirely new future for himself premised on compassion, care, and advocacy. As a boy, Michael was taught to choose violence and aggression. As a young adult, Michael saw women as his to take and lied, cheated, and scammed his way through life. All along, Michael really wanted to be kind and loving and a protector of women - but ended up being what they needed protection from. During his dark days as a mobster - Michael had a loaded gun put to his head and was shot at more than once, was stabbed, and was attacked with a baseball bat. He conned, hustled and stole from other criminals, drug dealers and gangs. That was over 30 years ago – and since then Michael has turned his life completely around shifting to a life of a counselor helping give men insights, experiences and potential steps to shift their mindset and behavior. And for women who have had problematic men in their life, Michael helps them understand why many men act the way they do, and that they can change. The book is a story about hope and teaching men that they can be the person they always knew they could be.

-Missed Opportunity- I love sharing conversations.  Hosting requires show prep.  My podcasting platforms feature thousands of guests.  What you don’t have access to are the missed opportunities. The show prep was completed.  The conversation didn’t happen.  I keep all my notes! Paths will cross again.  Let me explain Missed Opportunity.  It’s my questions and statements without their answers.  I’m leaving open enough space at the end of each question hoping they’ll download the talk and insert their answers.Missed Opportunity is a lost piece of history.  Like a message in a bottle tossed out to sea. I hope to locate a destination…
This week we’re putting focus on my missed opportunity with actor and fellow podcaster Freddy Prinze Jr and comedian Jeff Dye.   Missed Opportunity.  A lost piece of history.  You know the questions.  Let’s locate the reactions.  The door is always open.  Reach out to me at [email protected] that’s [email protected] Be brilliant!
