  • Pay Close Attention To The Clues The Dead Of Summer From Ryan La Sala
THE DEAD OF SUMMER: Ollie Veltman is finally coming home to the quaint island of Anchor’s Mercy after a year away while his mom battled cancer. It should be a celebration—his mom is cancer free, and she’s determined to have the best summer ever—but Ollie’s (now ex) best friends think he abandoned them, and he’s returning with a lot of questions. Because for a place that’s perfect on the surface, a secret rots below the waves. A secret that could explain his mom’s illness, and the illness of so many other locals. Ollie’s desperate search for the truth turns life-or-death when a storm descends upon the island. In its wake, a long-sunken horror rises . . . Now Ollie is being held in isolation aboard a military hospital ship in the harbor. They say he’s a survivor, but they only know half the story. The truth is more monstrous than Ollie ever believed, and he suspects his saviors aren’t here to save anyone. Only Ollie can stop what’s coming, but that means getting back to Anchor’s Mercy before it vanishes, taking with it everyone he has ever loved.

  • Finish Line From OG8 Roars Through A Live Crowd Scoring The White Line
It might sound funny to have an album’s first single be titled “Finish Line” but for the band Original 8 (OG8), its starting and ending points have never been determined by anyone other than themselves. Is it a race to place first? Or is it a personal accomplishment that has been stirring one’s soul for decades. Only the listener can decide.  “Finish Line”, a track that weaves together rock and Americana canvases, is from OG8’s “Recognize” album due October 14 via Beat Farm Music. The album is named after OG8 lead singer Jaime Lynch’s personal mantra. It’s also par for the course; in OG8’s previous 2025-26 releases “W.O.M.A.N” and “Change”, a common thread of self-empowerment and a slight sense of a chip on their shoulder has listeners immediately connected to the band’s positive outlook.

  • The Daily Mess TV Chefs And Prep Time Plus Weddings And Cold Feet
I’m always asking questions.  The fun begins when you start researching for answers. Such as…   How much time do tv chefs really get on these cooking competition shows?  Plus…we’ve all heard the term cold feet.  Why is it associated with a persons wedding day?   I’m Arroe…  I am a daily writer.  A silent wolf.  I stand on the sidelines and do nothing but watch, listen study then activate.  I call it The Daily Mess.  A chronological walk through an everyday world.  Yes, it’s my morning writing.  As a receiver of thoughts and ideas, we as people tend to throw it to the side and deal with it later.  When a subject arrives, I dig in.  It’s still keeping a journal!  By doing the research the picture becomes clearer.  This is the Daily Mess…

  • Living Longer But Not Better The Goal Is Getting Us Refocused Edward Jones
Americans are living longer—but not necessarily better. A new concept gaining traction called “peakspan,” is changing the conversation from how long we live to how long we feel strong, energized, and mentally sharp. The reality is concerning: we’re not just aging, we’re aging with more disease. According to a recent study in Frontiers in Public Health, the number of Americans over 50 with at least one chronic condition is expected to nearly double by 2050, reaching more than 142 million. For many Americans, this isn’t abstract, it’s personal: rising anxiety about aging and retirement, chronic pain, poor sleep, and low energy becoming the new normal, all while the cost of staying healthy continues to add stress instead of relief.Available for Interview:
Edward Jones is a longevity expert and natural health pioneer, bringing more than 40 years of real-world experience helping people take control of their health—without extreme biohacking or expensive routines. At 68, he’s in peak physical condition, competes in bodybuilding competitions, and has built a 95K following on TikTok by sharing practical, no-nonsense wellness strategies. What makes his story compelling is that he’s lived the decline many Americans fear—chronic pain, fatigue, and mobility issues (being reliant on a walker to get around)—and reversed it after the age of 50 through consistent, natural, healthy habits.

  • Pod Crashing 101 Episode 503 Retail Utilizes Podcasting Plus Is There Too Much About Us
Podcasting is proving to finally be a business's winning tool. I got into podcasting in 2010 because as a radio companies production director I was searching for newer ways to promote business success. My larger-than-life broadcast company literally said to me, "I don't know what you're doing but don't stop." Today it's evolved into the very vision I had 16 years ago. Plus... are we getting too personal on our podcasts? Taylor Swift's entire love life is present, can hosts do the same?
