  • The Road Less Traveled From Ed Hajim An Unlikely Journey From The Orphanage To The Boardroom
At 89, he is actively engaging teenagers and college students—not lecturing, but offering guidance from a lived roadmap for life. A bit about Ed: his first book, an engaging memoir -  The Road Less Traveled: An Unlikely Journey From The Orphanage To The Boardroom -  shares at the age of 3, Ed Hajim was kidnapped by his father, driven cross-country, and told his mother is dead. Then he was abandoned, raised in orphanages and foster homes. Ed overcame extraordinary adversity to build a life that embodies the American Dream: University of Rochester, Navy service, Harvard Business School, leadership at the highest levels of Wall Street, Horatio Alger Award recipient, founder of the Nantucket Golf Club, married to his wife Barbara for 60 years and has three grown children and is a proud grandfather. His next book focuses on The Ed Hajim Four Ps: Passions, Principles, Partners and Plans. As Ed explains, these have been the constants in his life, his inner voice to make decisions that match his hopes and execute ideas to get to his goals – and he shares them in his follow-up book THE ISLAND OF THE FOUR Ps: A Modern Fable about Preparing for Your Future  - Plus, the Ed Hajim Life Design Course now beginning to be used on campuses across the country, Ed helps young people identify their passions, principles, partners and plans —and shows them how to design a life with intention using a roadmap for life. Here’s a video to enjoy and hear from Ed directly!
In an era defined by uncertainty and anxiety about the future, Ed Hajim offers clarity, perspective and proof that where you start does not determine where you finish.

  • The Daily Mess Loving Rock Documentaries Plus Has Radio Always Treated On Air People Poorly
I’m always asking questions.  The fun begins when you start researching for answers. Such as…   Why are Rock documentaries so popular with the masses?  Plus…has terrestrial radio always been ruthless to its on air talent?   I’m Arroe…  I am a daily writer.  A silent wolf.  I stand on the sidelines and do nothing but watch, listen study then activate.  I call it The Daily Mess.  A chronological walk through an everyday world.  Yes, it’s my morning writing.  As a receiver of thoughts and ideas, we as people tend to throw it to the side and deal with it later.  When a subject arrives, I dig in.  It’s still keeping a journal!  By doing the research the picture becomes clearer.  This is the Daily Mess…

  • Speaking The Street With Alexa And Clarence Episode Eight Digging Into Ai, Traveling To Mars And Serial Killers
I’m a daily writer of over 32 years.  A terrestrial radio and podcasts host for 46 years.  Everything I create and share through broadcasting is a personal experience. Alexa hasn’t lived a day in any decade or century yet endlessly offers information and acceleration to anyone tapping in.  Street Speak is all about making an authentic connection with a digital device and sheer know it all.  None of this is scripted.  This really is Alexa from Amazon.  You can’t predict a single word Alexa shares.  She’s AI technology.  Endlessly we are warned to never believe what she shares.  Yet it sounds amazingly authentic.  Ultimately, it’s your choice.  So why am I using my real name versus Arroe?  The AI unit thinks if she he or it has to be authentic so do I. This is Street Speak with Alexa and Clarence…

  • The Importance of The Creative Coalition With Actor Tim Daly
"When we stop defending expression, we start accepting silence," says Tim Daly, President of The Creative Coalition. "That silence begins when we fail to protect both the First Amendment and the institutions that make creativity possible, including vital federal support for the National Endowment for the Arts. Defending the NEA means defending the artists, storytellers, and cultural voices that help define who we are as a nation."Adds Robin Bronk, CEO of The Creative Coalition, "For nearly four decades, The Creative Coalition has operated at the intersection of art and free speech because the two are inseparable. The First Amendment exists to express inconvenient and necessary truths. When we begin to question the value of that freedom, we are weakening the foundation of our democracy. This is the moment to stand behind expression, not step away from it."The Creative Coalition is the premier nonprofit, nonpartisan 501(c)(3) organization of the arts and entertainment community. Founded in 1989 by leaders across the creative sector, The Creative Coalition is dedicated to educating artists on issues of public importance. Led by actor and President Tim Daly, the organization is known for award-winning initiatives - including its signature #RightToBearArts campaign - that leverage storytelling to drive social impact and inspire civic engagement. Most recently, The Creative Coalition established the Entertainment Industry Commission on Family Caregiving. To learn more, visit TheCreativeCoalition.org

  • The Winner Of NBC's The Voice Season 29 Alexia Jayy
The very first The Voice: Battle of Champions winner has been crowned with Coach Adam Levine and his Artist Alexia Jayy wowing the audience of The Voice .A standout going back to the Blind Auditions when she earned the first Triple Chair Turn of the season and brought her son Matthew on stage to celebrate, Jayy proceeded to just get more and more confident each week until she landed her critical trio of Finale song performances. On the red carpet at the Blue Note Jazz Club in Hollywood on April 14, Jayy and Levine reunited to celebrate their win publicly for the first time. She shared with NBC Insider that while the Finale was pre-recorded, she kept her victory a secret, even from her son!"You know what? He was actually watching tonight, so he just found out," Jayy shared, laughing. "I go home for the weekend and we're going to throw a big party."With this win, Levine is now tied with fellow Battle of Champions Coach Kelly Clarkson. "It's fun to win," Levine told NBC Insider with a smile. "I think that I needed to take the break I took and when I came back it was really fun and easy. It's been fun. I don't know whatever it is but I hope it keeps on working for me."While Levine was able to keep Jayy on his team all season long, the Maroon 5 frontman admitted to NBC Insider aside from that, he can't take much credit for her win."I don't say that just to be humble," Levine said. "She was so calm. I didn't need to tell her much. I mean, there were little moments where she would be nervous and she's like, 'How do I get out of my head?' And I'm like, 'Just keep doing what you're doing. Don't worry about winning because that's not something you should concern yourself with. You should just do your best and see where it takes you.' But most of the time, she was always game-ready and so I was really just her biggest cheerleader."
