Chaos = A state of utter confusion. This is what I've been feeling lately! (After nearly 5 months of not working because my husband was in a coma and on a ventilator...)

What should I focus on doing next, when I have so many things to do, so many I WANT to do, but there just isn't time for it all?!

In this episode I'm talking with my longtime friend and former business life coach Tish Gentili. I always call Tish when my life is in shambles!  (And she always sets me straight.)

The worst thing that could have ever happened to me, happened.

You haven't heard from me lately because for 112 days my beloved Drew was in the hospital, fighting to stay alive. For 70 of those days he was on a ventilator and most of those days in an induced coma.

Finally, after 5 months of this, I am back to work, rebuilding my life....

This episode does not have any art business tips in it.

It's just raw, real life sharing of what happened to me and my family. My next podcast will be about work again.

What is that ONE THING you spend WAY too much money on?!  And are you even aware of it?

For me - it's wine. The older I get, the more expensive my wine gets. :) And at some point I realized I was spending more on wine than some people do on a car payment!

This is why you need to track your finances. I never used to track my money flow in and out. BUT dang, once you start, it changes EVERYTHING!
What you track EXPANDS.

And, tracking it keeps you from spending where you don't want to spend.

You don't need to GIVE UP things that are important to you; just give up the things that aren't. But you need to NOTICE where the money is going so you can make those conscious choices.  

AND: Investments vs. Expenses. If you're investing in your biz or your personal growth, it's not an expense, it's an investment. Know the difference!
