The older I've gotten, the more intentional I am with the people I let into my circle across the board; work, friendships, relationships and acquaintances. Once they are in, I build each of those relationships on respect and loyalty while expecting the same energy in return. Remember if you want people to respect you and genuinely be there for you, you need to give off that same genuine energy. Good people are attracted to good people. Respect is attracted to respect. Lead and embody this energy in every way! And if the person on the other side is not reciprocating that same energy, remove them from the circle. They will then be matched with others with the same negativity.

With the ever changing landscape of Influencer marketing and being a boutique agency, I am a bit more selective with who we sign on. Reasoning is that I want to ensure that if we sign new talent we are able to get them consistent revenue and goal partnerships. We don't believe in people just sitting on the roster and I will never run my business that way. I share what I look for when signing a client in 2023 and also share insight into what brands are looking for as well! 

In this episode I talk about how I have been finding happiness in moments, places and things while discovering so much clarity in silence. The older we get, the more selective we are with what brings us happiness, so it's important to find what those things are again and make time for them. I thrive with rituals, not routines.

I then get into the difference between dreamers and doers! What separates the two is that the doers don't wait around daydreaming about what could be. They take action towards their goal, make this goal a reality and won't let anything get in their way. Success, abundance and prosperity are attracted to the doers. Let's chat about it!

I've been wanting to try Reiki after hearing so many positive stories about the practice. Finally in December I booked a virtual session with Tara Méi and hopped on the podcast to record my experience just moments after wrapping. I had such a wonderful session with Tara, but felt that I wasn't able to properly speak to the energy healing as I am no expert and had only done one session. Instead, I asked Tara if she'd come on the podcast and share her knowledge and experiences in the healing space. Tara ultimately left her traditional 9-5 to follow her dreams and intuition and has never looked back. She knows that the universe would never guide her down the wrong path and finds the journey to be a beautiful one.

Carly was one of my first interns back in 2019 [picture this: only 4 clients and my vision]. Once the timing was right and I was in a place to do so [August 2021], I asked her to come on as my first salaried employee and even more MAJOR.. MY COO!!

Carly has been by my side since the very beginning and her story is such an inspirational one! Not many people can say they became the COO of a company at 24 years old. This story will give you chills and show you that you don't have to be like everyone else, you can have your own journey and when you find peace in that, everything will align. We also talk about Carly's experience leaving a small town in South Carolina to live in different states month to month, not settling and finding her own independence. Something about me is I LOVE meeting new people and making new friendships! I've been this way ever since moving to New York City in 2013.
