In this podcast episode, we interview Dr. Molly Quinn, who is in obstetrics and gynecology and reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center and UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center, and Dr. Kathleen Devine, director of research obstetrics and gynecology, reproductive endocrinology, and infertility at Shady Grove Fertility and assistant professor at Georgetown University. They discuss the Resident Education Committee of the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (SREI) and its efforts to create educational materials for medical students and residents in the field of reproductive endocrinology and infertility (REI). They talk about the challenges of resident education in REI and the importance of developing structured educational materials to help trainees gain knowledge outside of their daily curriculum. Learn about the three separate documents recently developed to help trainees learn about REI as well as the ASRM Grand Round series, which has been helpful for fellowship directors and residents alike.
