While reading aloud to a dying patient, therapist William Peters felt himself floating out of his body. The patient, also aloft, looked at him and smiled. Drawing on this experience and that of his other patients, William formed the Shared Crossing Project in 2011. The mission is to positively transform relationships with death and dying through education and raising awareness and to provide a different, heartfelt way to look at the end of life.
