Tim Burton leans into the aesthetic of Gotham with a heavy hand and it lends itself to comic book storytelling. Danny Elfman turns in a score with perhaps one of the best themes of his career, and Michelle Pfeiffer plays an unforgetable Catwoman. It's an excellent Rogue's Gallery of villains with Walken being at his most Walken. Although considered inferior to the original picture, we are here to tell you that it's extremely watchable and a perfect Christmas watch.
