On this episode, Be Present, Not Perfect (Father Figures), Benjamin sits down for powerful conversation with Reggie George. Reggie is the founder of Father Figure Apparel, a husband, a father of twin daughters, an entrepreneur, a coach, and FATHER FIGURE to many. In 2019, one of his twins (Kam) was violently stabbed in the head with a pair of scissors by a young man at school, completely unprovoked. Together, they talk about his traumatic story and the great purpose that came out of great pain. This episode is a call for every man to step up and be a father figure to the next generation, which is at the heart of the father figure movement. Reggie's clothing brand was recently promoted by the head football coach of the University of Colorado, Deon Sanders, who also has a huge passion for investing in and developing young leaders.
Episode Quote:
"Every man needs to take full-ownership in seeking out mentors and father figures for themselves. You can't expect to be a father figure to the next generation without having father figures in your own life."
