We teamed up with Jesse, Mike, and Alex from the Chilluminati podcast for this Terrified Together, and the five of us tackled two listener submissions that had the whole group going back and forth on where the line is between what the mind creates and what's actually out there.

First up was Ash's story. Ash experienced what we believe was sleep paralysis and woke up with a prophetic certainty that a tall blonde woman with a knife was walking toward their house, and then years later in rural Alabama with their partner Elliot, started hearing wrong animal sounds, seeing glowing eyes at the tree line, and voices calling from the woods before a very bad night with an ATV and a gunshot made everything a lot more real.

Then we got into Candela's story from New Mexico, where a 19-year-old college student near the Mexican border watched strange lights moving in sharp, jagged patterns across the sky on two separate nights.

And then on the third occurrence, blacked out mid-sentence while fully awake and alert, only to come to three hours later sitting upright in the exact same position with her textbook still open on her lap and no explanation for where those hours went.

The Silent Watcher | Paranormal Podcast

This week, we've got 2 listener submissions that genuinely got under our skin — first from Logan in Indiana, who as a 3 or 4 year old kept waking up to a silent black humanoid figure slowly rocking in the chair across his room, and when we say silent, we mean the kind of deliberate, suffocating silence that swallowed even the sound of a child screaming for his parents.

Then we dove into Aaron's story from a small town in Virginia, where between the red-eyed figure lurking in the backyard, poltergeist activity luring the brothers out of the room to rearrange their playing cards, a Sacred Heart of Jesus painting hiding something very unexpected on the back, and a backwards-printing printer that was probably just haunted by HP customer service — the house was putting in serious work.

But the creepiest encounter was the one Aaron's atheist father witnessed alone in that living room — a thick black fog that crawled across the floor, rose up, shaped itself into something human, and then made a sound we'd never heard described before right in his face.

Phantom Time Conspiracy | Paranormal Podcast

We went full conspiracy mode and tackled the Phantom Time Hypothesis, the genuinely wild theory that the Holy Roman Emperor Otto III conspired with Pope Sylvester II and the Byzantine Emperor Constantine VII to fabricate nearly 300 years of history, meaning we're not actually living in 2026, but somewhere closer to 1729.

We broke down the evidence people point to, from the gap between the Julian and Gregorian calendars to a suspicious lack of archaeological layers from that time period, and got into whether legendary figures like Charlemagne and Ragnar Lothbrok were real men exaggerated into myth, or were invented outright to pad out a fake timeline so a few power-hungry rulers could claim they ruled during the symbolically important year 1000.

We also couldn't resist a detour into the story of Pope Sylvester II allegedly selling his soul to the devil for a magical answering head and a guaranteed papacy, which honestly might be the most believable part of this whole conspiracy.

The Imjärvi Incident | Paranormal Podcast

This week, we headed to January 1970 in the frozen forests of southern Finland to cover the Imjärvi UFO incident, where two experienced, credible cross-country skiers named Aarno and Esko stopped for a rest in a clearing and watched a metallic disc descend from a glowing cloud just meters above the ground, accompanied by a buzzing that wouldn't quit and a beam of intense white light that scorched a perfect circle into the snow.

Standing inside that beam was a three-foot-tall pale being in a green coverall with a hooked nose, claw-like fingers, and a black box aimed directly at Arno that pulsed harder and harder until colored sparks shot out of the snow and drifted slowly across both men.

What followed the encounter is where things really went sideways. Aarno couldn't hold his weight, urinated black, became incoherent, had what a doctor described as textbook radiation exposure symptoms that lasted for months, and that was before the strange woman in yellow claimed to be from a peaceful green world across the galaxy and started showing up uninvited wherever he went.

The Hands From Under the Bed | Paranormal Podcast

This week, we've got two listener submissions. First from Rebecca in Texas, who as a terrified little girl forced to watch Salem's Lot by her dad couldn't shake the vampires long enough to sleep, prayed desperately in the dark, and then had an experience in that darkness that she still remembers in perfect detail decades later.

Then we got into Chloe's story, which genuinely had us putting the phone down — she traveled to Slovakia to help refurbish an old building that turned out to have been a Nazi stronghold during WWII, was given a candle and a warning by a local woman who claimed she could see what was still lingering there, and then fell asleep in an isolated outbuilding with music in her ears and felt two cold hands grab both her ankles and drag her down the bed.

The marks were still on her ankles when she turned the light on, the room was completely empty, the door was locked, and the candle had gone out halfway — and that wasn't even the last time it happened.

It's time to break down these government UAP files!

The PURSUE UFO files are the massive declassified release from the Department of War covering over 200 previously classified UFO and UAP cases spanning 82 years, from the 1940s all the way to 2025, pulled from NASA, the FBI, the Pentagon, and beyond.

We went through astronaut audio from Gemini 7 where Frank Borman radioed Houston about hundreds of particles flying past the spacecraft, Buzz Aldrin's reports of flashing lights inside the Apollo 11 cabin, a triangular formation of lights photographed on the lunar surface during Apollo 17, military infrared footage from Syria showing an object that makes instant 90-degree turns with no propulsion or heat signature, orbs chasing fighter jets, objects seamlessly entering and exiting the ocean near a US submarine, FBI witness reports from contractors who watched a 130-foot metallic object materialize out of a bright light and vanish, and a 1963 White House memo with the subject line "Thoughts on the Space Alien Race Question" that advises the government to negotiate fast if contact is ever made.
