Cheryl sits down with ADHD-Certified Rehabilitation Service Provider, Pediatric Occupational Therapist and Registered Yoga Teacher, Miss K. This episode hit home for Cheryl, not just as a teacher but also as a parent of a child with ADHD. Listen in and learn what you can do in the classroom and in your home, if you are in contact with students who struggle with attention and regulation. Miss K introduces us to the magic behind using Tingsha Bells, timers, visual lists, brain breaks and so much more.
"Educational structuring research tells us that the first 5 minutes of instruction is wasted time and the perfect opportunity for self-regulation activity."
"When you engage in movement for 5 minutes or longer, your brain becomes flooded with norepinephrine which helps you stay task oriented."

Two women being honest and vulnerable as they sit down and talk about their tummy tuck procedures. Shaz and Cheryl go into detail about why they made the decision to get it done, the procedure itself and the unexpected intensity that came with recovery. Cheryl's undiagnosed ADHD shines in this episode as she has Shaz bounce from the procedure, to her kids, to the gym, to gaining weight after surgery, to recovery, to good posture, to religion, to hysterectomy procedures, to food and then back around again. Being vulnerable and honest as a woman can be uncomfortable for some, but these two just say it all! Wait... who wants to see Cheryl's tummy tuck surgery that she had the nurse record? Anyone?

Brave Will Foundation raised money to develop the Brave Will Room for families at Albany Medical Center. This room is used for families to spend time with a child in palliative care, in a way that is unlike any other. They have also created a program, SOAR (Steer Onward and Remember) to support families and honor their child after their passing.
There are several videos on bravewill.org so that you can learn more about these programs and about Will. Not everything happens for a reason, but everything that happens has a purpose.

Cheryl sits down with friend, and stay at home mom, Becca. Together they research and discuss the pros and cons of being a working mom versus a stay at home mom. Becca tries to convince Cheryl that Jersey Mikes has the best subs, that stay at homes should make over $100,000 a year and that it's okay to add a "y" to people's names. These two can't stay focused as they bounce around to all different topics!
In this episode Cheryl sits down with her coworker and work wife, Kristin. Kristin is an incredible story teller with outrageous stories. From founding a sorority, to being a summer prison teacher, and throw in that time Kristin taught in the Bronx, this episode will have you crying laughing. And if that doesn't do the trick then continue to listen, because these two start to unravel what makes their work relationship so unique and how they keep the peace through their honesty. Well...sort of.

In this episode, Cheryl, nervously and excitedly, shares a phone call with Jordan Syatt. Jordan is a fitness and nutrition coach. You may have seen his hilarious and blunt facts on the fitness and nutrition industry on social media or on his YouTube page. Jordan shares his story on wrestling as kid, his own personal struggles with food, and how he put an end to his own unhealthy life style. Cheryl was blown away by his rawness, his kindness and became quickly embarrassed when she tried to talk about One Arm Thrusters with Jordan....or is it One Arm Burpees...YIKES.

Cheryl sits down with her favorite red, Maria Wright. These two can't stop laughing as they talk about MWM...Mocktails, Workouts and Menopause. But that is not all. The bond these two have is pretty incredible as they went from strangers to showing up at some serious doctors appointments for one another. Listen and laugh as you hear about their back story, the in betweens, and where they are headed next. They are not doctors, marriage experts or mocktail bartenders, but they sure do act like all of the above.
