    guṇā guṇeṣhu vartanta iti matvā na sajjate
    🔴O Hero! on the contrary, the knower of the truth of the distinction between constituents of Prakrti and their operations does not attach himself to works knowing that constituents operate amidst constituents.

    प्रकृतेर्गुणसम्मूढा: सज्जन्ते गुणकर्मसु |
    तानकृत्स्नविदो मन्दान्कृत्स्नविन्न विचालयेत् || 29||
    prakṛiter guṇa-sammūḍhāḥ sajjante guṇa-karmasu
    tān akṛitsna-vido mandān kṛitsna-vin na vichālayet
    🔴Those who are deluded by Prakrti's constituents cling to the works of these constituents. The knower of the whole ought not to destabilize the dull and partial knowers.

    🔴Therefore, unattached, always do the work that has to be done; for, doing work with detachment, man attains the Supreme.

    कर्मणैव हि संसिद्धिमास्थिता जनकादय: |
    लोकसंग्रहमेवापि सम्पश्यन्कर्तुमर्हसि || 20||
    karmaṇaiva hi sansiddhim āsthitā janakādayaḥ
    loka-saṅgraham evāpi sampaśhyan kartum arhasi
    🔴 Janaka and others achieved perfection through works alone. At least, to promote the welfare of the world, you ought to do works.

    यद्यदाचरति श्रेष्ठस्तत्तदेवेतरो जन: |
    स यत्प्रमाणं कुरुते लोकस्तदनुवर्तते || 21||
    yad yad ācharati śhreṣhṭhas tat tad evetaro janaḥ
    sa yat pramāṇaṁ kurute lokas tad anuvartate
    🔴Whatever is done by the best of men, others also do; the world conforms to the standard that he sets.

    यस्त्वात्मरतिरेव स्यादात्मतृप्तश्च मानव: |
    आत्मन्येव च सन्तुष्टस्तस्य कार्यं न विद्यते || 17||
    yas tvātma-ratir eva syād ātma-tṛiptaśh cha mānavaḥ
    ātmanyeva cha santuṣhṭas tasya kāryaṁ na vidyate
    🔴 For the man who delights solely in the Self, who is content with the Self, who finds satisfaction alone in the Self, there is no duty to perform.

    नैव तस्य कृतेनार्थो नाकृतेनेह कश्चन |
    न चास्य सर्वभूतेषु कश्चिदर्थव्यपाश्रय: || 18||

    na chāsya sarva-bhūteṣhu kaśhchid artha-vyapāśhrayaḥ
    🔴 He has nothing to gain from work done or left undone. On no beings does he depend as regards any interests of his own.

Free from attachment, do work as sacrifice. 🔆Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 3, Verse 10: सहयज्ञा: प्रजा: सृष्ट्वा पुरोवाच प्रजापति: | अनेन प्रसविष्यध्वमेष वोऽस्त्विष्टकामधुक् || 10|| saha-yajñāḥ prajāḥ sṛiṣhṭvā purovācha prajāpatiḥ anena prasaviṣhyadhvam eṣha vo ’stviṣhṭa-kāma-dhuk 🔴 Bringing forth creatures together with sacrifice, the Lord of creatures said of old: Multiply by means of sacrifice; let it yield whatever you seek. 🔆Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 3, Verse 11: देवान्भावयतानेन ते देवा भावयन्तु व: | परस्परं भावयन्त: श्रेय: परमवाप्स्यथ || 11|| devān bhāvayatānena te devā bhāvayantu vaḥ parasparaṁ bhāvayantaḥ śhreyaḥ param avāpsyatha 🔴 By means of this sacrifice nourish the Devas; let the Devas nourish you. Mutually nourishing, may you win the supreme good. 🔆Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 3, Verse 12: इष्टान्भोगान्हि वो देवा दास्यन्ते यज्ञभाविता: | तैर्दत्तानप्रदायैभ्यो यो भुङ्क्ते स्तेन एव स: || 12|| iṣhṭān bhogān hi vo devā dāsyante yajña-bhāvitāḥ tair dattān apradāyaibhyo yo bhuṅkte stena eva saḥ 🔴 The Devas nourished by sacrifices will give you the enjoyments you seek. Verily he is a thief who enjoys without giving back to the Devas (a share of) the gifts given by them. 🔆Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 3, Verse 13: यज्ञशिष्टाशिन: सन्तो मुच्यन्ते सर्वकिल्बिषै: | भुञ्जते ते त्वघं पापा ये पचन्त्यात्मकारणात् || 13|| yajña-śhiṣhṭāśhinaḥ santo muchyante sarva-kilbiṣhaiḥ bhuñjate te tvaghaṁ pāpā ye pachantyātma-kāraṇāt 🔴Good men partake of what remains after offering sacrifices are liberated from all sins; whereas the sinners who cook for their own sake live on their sins. 🔆Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 3, Verse 14: अन्नाद्भवन्ति भूतानि पर्जन्यादन्नसम्भव: | यज्ञाद्भवति पर्जन्यो यज्ञ: कर्मसमुद्भव: || 14|| annād bhavanti bhūtāni parjanyād anna-sambhavaḥ yajñād bhavati parjanyo yajñaḥ karma-samudbhavaḥ 🔴Living beings are born of food; food is produced by rain. Rain is due to sacrifice. Sacrifice is the offspring of work. 🔆Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 3, Verse 15: कर्म ब्रह्मोद्भवं विद्धि ब्रह्माक्षरसमुद्भवम् | तस्मात्सर्वगतं ब्रह्म नित्यं यज्ञे प्रतिष्ठितम् || 15|| karma brahmodbhavaṁ viddhi brahmākṣhara-samudbhavam tasmāt sarva-gataṁ brahma nityaṁ yajñe pratiṣhṭhitam 🔴Know that this work is born of the Vedas, and that the Vedas are born of the imperishable Reality.     🔆Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 3, Verse 4:
    न कर्मणामनारम्भान्नैष्कर्म्यं पुरुषोऽश्नुते |
    न च संन्यसनादेव सिद्धिं समधिगच्छति || 4||
    na karmaṇām anārambhān naiṣhkarmyaṁ puruṣho ’śhnute
    na cha sannyasanād eva siddhiṁ samadhigachchhati
    🔴 Man does not achieve freedom from works by abstention from them. None attains perfection through the mere renunciation of works, either.
    🔆Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 3, Verse 5:
    न हि कश्चित्क्षणमपि जातु तिष्ठत्यकर्मकृत् |
    कार्यते ह्यवश: कर्म सर्व: प्रकृतिजैर्गुणै: || 5||
    na hi kaśhchit kṣhaṇam api jātu tiṣhṭhatyakarma-kṛit
    kāryate hyavaśhaḥ karma sarvaḥ prakṛiti-jair guṇaiḥ
    🔴 None indeed, even for a moment, remains without doing work. All, being dependent, are made to work by the constituents of Prakrti.
    🔆Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 3, Verse 6:
    कर्मेन्द्रियाणि संयम्य य आस्ते मनसा स्मरन् |
    इन्द्रियार्थान्विमूढात्मा मिथ्याचार: स उच्यते || 6||
    karmendriyāṇi sanyamya ya āste manasā smaran
    indriyārthān vimūḍhātmā mithyāchāraḥ sa uchyate
    🔴 Controlling the organs of action, he who lets his mind dwell on their objects has a confounded mind; he is said to be a hypocrite.
