BIP119 - Capítulo 3: El origen del miedo a los covenants

Después de investigar en el capítulo 1 sobre el origen y la cronología de los hechos de la propuesta de Jeremy y de intentar interiorizar (con más o menos éxito) el qué es y qué hace su covenant OP_CheckTemplateVerify, me he puesto manos a la obra a desempaquetar su polémica. ¿cuál es su taxonomía? ¿Por qué tanta intensidad?


Esto me ha llevado a un bonito camino histórico para encontrar el origen del miedo a los covenants en Bitcoin y si debemos o no temer las consecuencias del BIP119.
