Tasha Campbell shares the story of when her mother’s boyfriend sexually molested her – with the approval of her mother. Tasha discusses how being molested affected her, including depression, shame, and suicidal thoughts, and what was critical for her recovery and healing.
Pride—it takes down marriages, churches, and even countries. Satan’s pride will eventually land him in the lake of fire for all eternity. Some will join Satan in his eternal destination. The Pharisees, swollen with pride over their positions and Bible knowledge, completely missed Jesus. Pride enters the heart quietly. It doesn’t need a big, wide open door. For the wife whose husband is recovering from porn addiction, all it takes is one thought: “My husband owes me . . . he needs to pay for what he did . . . he’d better do this my way and in my time, and if he doesn’t, he’s going to get it.”

Imaging that you’re a business owner. You’re losing 75% of all new customers, 70% of your work force is working at a low productivity level, and your company is bleeding money like crazy. If you don’t move quickly to determine the problem, your business will be gone.

Kristen Jenson shares about the need to talk to kids as soon as they get on the internet about pornography, and discusses her books (Good Pictures Bad Pictures, Good Pictures Bad Pictures Jr) that equip parents on how to have those discussions.
John returns for a second broadcast. In the previous week, John shared his story, which included being exposed to porn at the age of 6, being molested by young boys and a woman, becoming a police officer, molesting his step daughter, and going to prison. John shares how he healed, the devastation that porn and sexual sin have caused in his life and that of others, and the healing power of the grace and forgiveness of God.
As a youth, John got hooked on porn and was sexually abused and molested, by men and women. He later became a police officer, and, after molesting his step-daughter, ended up in prison. For John to have been exposed as a former police officer in prison would have been life-threatening. John’s story is a powerful example of how lust can take us into dark places… and how God is faithful in the midst of our storms.
Arwel, from North Wales, UK, returns to discuss the results of a new survey in the UK that showed that less than 50% of their population identify as Christians. Sexual issues in the UK church are discussed, and Arwel shares about the accountability and prayer groups he leads for Blazing Grace that are available to all.
Sean Genung, 28, and Rebekah Genung, 20, return to the show to discuss why 75% of youth are leaving the church, and what we can do about it. Both share that what was missing, and what they would have liked to have heard in church were in-depth discussions on how to cope with isolation, how to resist temptation, spiritual warfare, pornography, and the occult, and providing a time for safe connection with other believers where weaknesses could be shared. They shared how church youth groups were like high school cliques.
