Being a publisher is HARD WORK. There are ways to make it easier, but the reality is:

• Your to-do list will never be done
• Your content will never be perfect
• A new social platform will pop up (will you join it?!)

But it's also WORTH IT. In this episode, I'm joined by Colin Devroe of NerdPress for the permission slip you didn't know you needed to embrace the ever-changing landscape of the online space. To keep showing up. To differentiate yourself. And to and to enjoy the journey, even when the path feels messy or uncertain. Whether it's life, growing a garden, or raising kids, things are always in flux. So what does this mean when your JOB as a publisher is "always changing, always flowing?" (cue Pocahontas) "Be okay with a constant state of change… Be okay with the chaos. Be okay with a to-do list that may never be done." Your role as a publisher online is VERY important. To your audience, to the world, but also to your own sense of autonomy and creativity, and my conversation with Colin will give you more of what you need to keep the fire alive… even when things feel weighty.
