 If you have never been to the NE Collision Conference it is the weekend of St. Patty's Day in March every year so make sure to register when it comes around in 2025.

Louie Sharp, owner of Sharp Auto Body talks to us today about the keys to his success. As a former marine his mindset shift completely changed his life and his business.
Louie drops so many amazing gems in this episode. Check this out:

• Life is either easy or hard and you get to choose how you play the game.
• Be the point of the spear. Lead the charge for what is right, for what's just and what is fair.

In coaching he starts with the owner. For every business owner, Louie shares that you have to work on YOU first before working on the business. 

He believes our business is our spiritual practice - how we serve & help people and we shouldn't take it for granted. The marines gave him:
#1 - Self Esteem - He could do things he didn't think he could.
#2 - Heart of service

Take the time to know the people and know the stories to be able to care for your customers.

If you start with love - you will be amazed at what happens. Send them blessings, abundance and love and you'll be amazing at how everything in your life will change. When you start with love, love doesn't know the boundaries of the "rules" or the b.s. we typically deal with.

Music from the heart touches the heart. Anything that comes from your heart will touch another heart.

John is a legend in our industry. He’s a long time veteran who now is a BDM for BASF where he is able to help out shops plus he speaks at conferences and association events across the country.

Being elite in your market means you have to differentiate yourself.

John cites that OE certification is the #1 way to do so but also emphasizes the importance of meeting people where they are at and focusing on what they need emotionally in that moment.

We discuss several ways other shops are differentiating themselves to give you ideas. After creating a differentiator you need to market that so the general public knows!
