"I’m reviewing my current hourly clients so I can switch them to flat fee. My hesitation is the amount of communication that I include in that fee. I can estimate what to expect, based on what their number of emails/texts/calls to me have been in the past. What do you include in your contract to ensure that you can be paid for emails/phone calls/texts, without looking like you’re nickel and diming? Some of my clients need a lot of hand-holding, which I don’t mind, as long as they pay me for it."
