    This Podcast: WORRY

"Thank you Sweet Baby Jesus for another BEAUTIFUL day @BowsTexas. Here to coach and consult you being RAW. REAL. UPBEAT & STRAIGHTFORWARD. The goal is to guide you to be an authentic beautiful version of yourself with an organized routine, living well, and sharing resources to study so you can be focused and productive!”

    Worry by definition in dictionary:

1.) To give way to anxiety or unease; allow one's mind to dwell on difficulty or troubles.

2.) State of anxiety and uncertainty over actual or potential problems

    Read Phillipians 4: 6-7

A LOT CAN CAUSE WORRY. Stress hormones cause anxiety, minimize stress and you can potentially eliminate worry.

the opposite of worry however is MINDFULNESS.

GET ORGANIZED. LEARN TO SAY NO. LET GO OF NEGATIVITY. SEEK HELP. write it down

you can become unsteady and off balance from stress .

    PRAY. BELIEVE. TRUST.

During a church service once Johnny Cash’s to do list was mentioned.

One item on it was to Worry.

It was mentioned during a Facebook video that he would literally schedule time to worry.

Maybe to save time throughout the day for only that blocked time?

How intelligent this really is, Think about it...

What if we all scheduled a break in our day to take worries to God?

All of the worries in your heart.

    This could keep people sane.

Otherwise we’d store ‘em up and burst later!

Why do we avoid the wisdom provided in life?

What is it that makes us want to avoid facing the deep inner issues?

ask God to reveal it ALL to YOU, for a clear conscience.

It’s painful, some things were easier to face than others...

But it was better than holding it all inside feeling weighed down and numb to life; overall it’s worth it. Become Stable, Face Reality.

Challenge yourself to work towards this...

Be emotionally available; don’t use substances or distractions to ignore it.

    1.) Identify the emotion

    2.) Address it

    3.) Be REAL

    4.) Be FREE

    5.) GIVE THANKS.

    Face your fears.

    Rediscover yourself.

    Love yourself, love your life.

    come out of hiding

  • Stability

    This Podcast: STABILITY

"Thank you Sweet Baby Jesus for another BEAUTIFUL day @BowsTexas. Here to coach and consult you being RAW. REAL. UPBEAT & STRAIGHTFORWARD. The goal is to guide you to be an authentic beautiful version of yourself with an organized routine, living well, and sharing resources to study so you can be focused and productive!”

What does it mean to be stable according to the dictionary?

1.) (of a person) sane and sensible; not easily upset or disturbed.

2.) (of a patient or a medical condition) not deteriorating in health after an injury or operation.

What bothers you? Are you willing to let it go to experience true freedom?

What hurts you? Are you willing to forgive and move on to experience true joy?

What can you control? Are you willing to take responsibility for what you can and release what you can't?

Should you find yourself frustrated or a little unsteady, recommend stopping right then and there to remind yourself, "Yes, I can exercise self control, but it's time to face this, deal with it, and move on."

Emotionally stable people do not allow circumstances to take away their JOY!

Repeat...Emotionally stable people do not allow circumstances to take away their JOY!

There's no escaping things or people, it will catch up to you! Gain stability and do not let outside circumstances or emotions determine what you do.

Do you want to be sane (in your right mind; well)?

Most people will say yes, but this requires letting go of anger, hurt, hangups and bad habits.

You can do it, it's your choice, decide for yourself.

NO EXCUSES. You are responsible for your actions, nothing or no one can make you do anything. Remember that.

    How do you stay sane?

Keep a sound mind, pray for the renewing of your mind, be healthy and guard your thought life.

If you ask me to be sober is to be intelligent, understanding and considerate; not poisoning your brain and body.

I've had this conversation a lot lately, it's a choice. Personally I don't see anything wrong with enjoying adult time every now and then, in moderation of course (for liver sake) but just like with food or anything else, it can get out of control really quick. Some people choose to abstain from it all for good. I think overindulging in anything isn't healthy.

It's about B-A-L-A-N-C-E and being present (the motive in your heart behind anything you do).

At a recent event I drank more than a glass of wine and was quickly reminded of how that's not acceptable for my body.

Want to love your body, enjoy life, and make sound decisions;  be more careful with your choices moving forward.

We are not perfect; you know when your time has come to change... if there's peace, consider it. BE STABLE, not stupid.

  • Beauty

    This Podcast: Beauty

"Thank you Sweet Baby Jesus for another BEAUTIFUL day @BowsTexas. Here to coach and consult you being RAW. REAL. UPBEAT & STRAIGHTFORWARD. The goal is to guide you to be an authentic beautiful version of yourself with an organized routine, living well, and sharing resources to study so you can be focused and productive!”

The definition of beauty according to the dictionary:

1.) a combination of qualities, such as shape color, or form, that pleases the aesthetic senses, especially the sight.

    2.) a beautiful woman.

3.) pleasing or attractive features of something

Obviously with my career in the beauty industry I clearly understand pleasing the aesthetic senses and enhancing the qualities people have; help women (and men) look and feel beautiful.

Let's go deeper than that though... love the third definition (of something not someone)

BEAUTY can be found in everyday life, the simple things that you are surrounded by each day.

    1.) Sunrise and Sunset

When was the last time you stepped outside to enjoy this view and truly soak up the moment of natural beauty?

What about the trees, the view, and the masterpiece of this beautiful land that surround us? (sorry if you live in the city)

    2.) A Smile

To smile is to form your features into a pleased, kind, or amused expression. It can help you overcome adversity.

You're not beautiful after botox, lip injections, etc... it's your SMILE! What makes you smile? Spend more time there.

    3.) ART

Your picture, what is it? BEAUTIFUL.

Connect on a creative level, embrace art for what it is; design your life around what you love! Love your lifestyle, create your style, BE WHO YOU ARE, BEAUTIFUL.

Or even deeper than that...TRUE BEAUTY.

1.) A mother and her child reunited with LOVE, PEACE, JOY, AND HOPE.

2.) An individual able to realize their worth and avoid abuse, addiction, and abandonment with boundaries.

3.) Parents with a life full of LOVE and LAUGHTER showing children what life is really about.

4.) A community that listens to one another, helping others when in need.

Being able to trust yourself and others, that's beautiful.

Releasing control, yet taking responsibility is beautiful.

When you learn to listen and not be so quick to respond, that's beauty.

When you change your life for the better and stop running from your past, that's beautiful.

When you realize life requires balance but you can still enjoy it, that's beautiful.

  • Get Organized

    This Podcast: Get Organized

"Thank you Sweet Baby Jesus for another BEAUTIFUL day @BowsTexas. Here to coach and consult you being RAW. REAL. UPBEAT & STRAIGHTFORWARD. The goal is to guide you to be an authentic beautiful version of yourself with an organized routine, living well, and sharing resources to study so you can be focused and productive!”

It's time for you to get organized, and this requires lots of focus in the beginning but you can be so much more productive when you learn to organize the little things in your life.

First thing recommended: UNSUBSCRIBE to any emails that do not require your focus on a daily basis. Honestly unsubscribe to all those shopping accounts that you've created and receive emails of their sales on a regular basis.

How this works, go through and actually open the email, scroll to the bottom and click unsubscribe. You created it, now you delete it; it's time to focus on a better you and that doesn't come from shopping for things. Remove temptatations.

Second thing recommended: Create a BUDGET and stick to it. Cancel any subscriptions or memberships that you don't use or haven't used in the last 45 days, even if it's less than $5.99, just do it! It's part of becoming free and gaining control back over your finances. Your budget can be as little or as big as you want it, but you make it, track it, and stick to it!

List your income: Any source where money is coming in, find the total and build your budget (saving anything left over)

The basics: Rent/Mortgage, Phone, Insurance, Car, Electric, Water, Trash, Cable/Internet etc.

Additional Debt: Credit cards, Loans, etc

    Additional Subscriptions: Spotify, Netflix, etc

Living: Groceries, Gas, Repairs/Oil Change, Fun Money/Entertainment for the month

*Pay off debt smallest to largest to eliminate this from your budget and help you get ahead.

Third thing recommended: Have an ACCOUNT log this includes login info with passwords to stay organized and eliminate time and energy later trying to remember everything. Most phones offer this in settings - passwords&accounts -website&app  to store this information making your life so much easier. You can also create a sheet for this if that works best; although you do have to remember to update regularly anytime there's a force password change.

Fourth thing recommended: Use your CALENDAR for everything! Track your day, it's the only way you can focus on where you spend your time, manage it to the the best of your ability and don't let it run your life. Make time for you, plan ahead, and share events with others to communicate. Set reminders, create to do lists, block your schedule, and stay focused! Cannot stress this enough... you are able to commit to what matters most when you can see your day, week, month. It's fabulous to have a written form of a calendar if that's what you choose as well, just use your time wisely; never bored.

Fifth thing recommended: Clean up your FRIENDS list. For Christ sake, how many people are you giving energy to on a daily basis? When was the last time you actually saw or spoke to the people on your list? Do you just keep them on there to look like you are popular? Be true to yourself and others, and don't rely on social only to connect.

  • Patience

    This Podcast: Patience

"Thank you Sweet Baby Jesus for another BEAUTIFUL day @BowsTexas. Here to coach and consult you being RAW. REAL. UPBEAT & STRAIGHTFORWARD. The goal is to guide you to be an authentic beautiful version of yourself with an organized routine, living well, and sharing resources to study so you can be focused and productive!”

Learning to eat right, budget, survive and learning to love while living well.

Sounds so simple right? For someone in recovery, it requires a lot of energy in the beginning just to get your mind right.

Each day I’d have a list ready to go with purpose and passion to work towards the goal set.

#1 priority, wowzers, it’s work, but with LOVE it’s amazing!

We’ve learned a lot together over the years.

Prayed for wisdom, peace, joy, love, and patience regularly learning to embrace each moment for what it was.

Instead of extravagant dinner time we’d have a game time, softball, or Netflix and chill… life became intentional.

We were present, focused, and productive with goals to reach to live the life we truly wanted.

So instead of sayin’ NO all the time, we’d find ways to make things happen. Our glass became half full instead of half empty.

Think it’s a valuable lesson to teach children that things CAN happen, but sometimes it requires being willing to sacrifice things.

For instance: The next time your child comes to you and says they want something, instead of saying yes or no… ask them.

“How much does this mean to you?” Let them answer and put in the work; take the pressure off yourself.

Our holidays are not about gifts anymore, we have everything we need. It’s about love, laughter, peace, joy, and memories!

Wow that sounds super cheesy but it’s REAL!  Stress that we put on ourselves as parents is unnecessary, you know what they need at the end of the day? To know that someone cares, is looking out for them, wants the best for them, making memories, enjoying the little moments, and disciplining them with love and guidance.

Learned not to be a people pleaser but to live with purpose and passion as a patient person.

    This Podcast: Music is medicine

"Thank you Sweet Baby Jesus for another BEAUTIFUL day @BowsTexas. Here to coach and consult you being RAW. REAL. UPBEAT & STRAIGHTFORWARD. The goal is to guide you to be an authentic beautiful version of yourself with an organized routine, living well, and sharing resources to study so you can be focused and productive!”

Have you ever heard a song and felt like they just took the words straight from you head & heart and put it in a song for you to explain what you were thinkin' in that moment?

Head full of lyrics that were linked to memories, now I try to focus on artists that create NEW memories with beautiful songs!

Check out these songs, listen to the lyrics and let your soul just be for a bit; music can be medicine.

Follow organized playlists for all kinds of music on Spotify

1.) "What I thought was all of my life story, turns out it was only just one page. It's a new beginning, I have got so much left to say." Dying to Live by Scott Stapp

This song was literally everything that I was feeling when I began to write this book.

2.) "Stubborn as I am, hard as it may seem, you remind me, I get stronger as I go." Stronger by Alternate Routes

Throughout my life, my family has been there still believing in me even at my lowest; inspiring me to share that love with others.

3.) "You've been faithful in my weakness" Learning to Need You by Justin McRoberts

There's a sweetness, a grace, a love that can be so overwhelming for a sinner like me... this song is on point.

4.) "A medication don't do much, yeah, it just numbs the brain." Get Up by Shinedown

Being able to think clearly is necessary, although sometimes it can be overwhelming, you gotta try!

5.) "They asked me where I learned to do this; self taught, checkin' things off my to do list." No Excuses by NF

When you make time for improvement, you learn more about yourself, what you value, and reality.

6.) "There's a song buried deep inside my soul, beneath the surface, it's in the places that I've been afraid to go, I know it's worth it." Soul Song by Micah Tyler

The closer we get to dealing with our issues, the harder it is to share; seeing it on paper helps us realize how insane life really can be for so long. It takes a lot of courage to write a book and share your story, it's a song without the music.
