Today we chat with this amazing lady and lactation consultant: Angela Das, IBCLC, CLC, CNPE. Her LC journey began after nursing her children, having a few issues with nursing, and the pandemic, which all led her down the path to become an IBCLC. She is deeply passionate about all of her families, and treats each one with specialized care and concern. In this podcast we talk about all kinds of lactation questions, concerns, issues, the differences in lactation certifications, and her own breastfeeding journey! I met Angela at a birth workers retreat, and she is a bubbly, kind, spirited, and knowledgeable woman who is so great at her job! I hope you enjoy our podcast episode all about lactation!
Angela Das, IBCLC, CLC, CNPE - in the field since 2021
LOCATION: Fort Collins, Colorado
From Angela: Lactation and all things newborn forest (hint: that’s the fourth trimester) is my speciality. I focus on the family in front of me - and work with them for their ideal journey. Lots of oral function and supporting babies through body tension and oral ties that affect feeding (either when the family chooses to release or not!), milk production concerns, painful feeding, and everything else including weaning. Also passionate about educating other professionals and working in a team approach with other providers - pediatricians, bodyworkers, pediatric dentists, SLP/PT/OT!
