She has a net approval rating: –12 according to a CNN/SSRS survey conducted March 26–30, 2026. This is the lowest rating for a First Lady dating back to the Reagan era. Is this Trump Derangement Syndrome or something else?

The U.S. government is preparing to automatically register eligible young men for the Selective Service System later this year. This change would shift the responsibility for draft registration for young men turning 18 away from individuals and place it on federal agencies. The U.S. has not had an active military draft since 1973, and reinstating one would require an act of Congress.

A two‑week ceasefire between the United States and Iran brokered primarily by Pakistan, with Israel later indicating conditional compliance. Iran agreed in principle to allow safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz during the ceasefire, while the U.S. agreed to suspend attacks for the two‑week window. However, this morning Iran haulted all oil traffic after Israel launched its largest strikes yet on Hezbollah targets in Lebanon. Lebanon was not part of the ceasefire deal.  Is the deal now over?

President Trump's executive order titled "Urgent National Action to Save College Sports" is the Trump administration’s most sweeping move yet on college athletics, aimed at reining in what it calls an “out‑of‑control arms race” in the NIL and transfer era.  The move limits athlete eligibility, cracks down on the transfer portal, targets NIL and pay‑for‑play and ties compliance to federal money.  Is this necessary? An investigation is underway to determine who leaked to the press that one of the two American airmen was missing after their fighter jet was shot down in Iran on Good Friday.  During Monday's press conference the president said the administration is working to determine who the leaker is, which put the missing pilot at greater risk.
