The hookup culture: The detached, non-emotional, and highly sexual dating culture. Everyone is just "hanging out" and "talking" tbh. Naturally I am a monogamous and romantic person in a relationship. Because of this movement, I've been trained and almost brainwashed into thinking I need to be detached in order to survive dating in LA.
