The Buffalo Bills endured a miserable 17-year stretch of playoff-less football from 2000-2017. On the latest episode of Billieve, host John Boccacino and Jamie D'Amico take their turn at playing general manager, assembling two teams featuring the best Bills players from the playoff drought. This 24-man snake draft features a QB, 2 RBs, 2 WRs, 1 TE, and one LT, LG, C, RG, RT on offense. Our base 4-3 defenses features 2 interior DTs, 2 DEs, 3 LBs, 2 CBs, 2 safeties, a kicker, punter, kickoff returner and punt returner. The rules? Players had to suit up for the Bills between 2000-2017 (players who logged time during the 90s were considered so long as they weren't thought of as a major contributor to the Super Bowl-era Bills); they were drafted based on contributions at their primary position; one-year wonders were considered; and we did not include current Bills who were on the 2017 team that snapped the drought. Check out our teams and join the conversation on which picks you agree with, and which left you scratching your head!

In this episode, we discuss the release of the Buffalo Bills 2020 schedule, where we think the toughest stretches of games are for the Bills, the strength of schedule based off of their opponents projected win totals rather than their opponents 2019 results, which road game destinations would be fun to travel to, which Prime Time slot is the best (SNF vs MNF vs TNF), and much more. We also have to predict the outcome of each game on the Bills schedule way too far in advance because we might as well. Listen now and Go Bills!

On the latest episode of the Billieve Podcast, host John Boccacino and Jamie D'Amico run through what they like and what they don't like about the Buffalo Bills' 2020 schedule, which for the first time since the 1996 season features four prime-time games for the Bills. While the schedule (on paper) is tougher than last year, there's a lot to dissect on our schedule breakdown podcast. Besides the fact that America is going to see a lot of the Buffalo Bills on television this fall, and even into the winter, we also liked the fact that the Bills won't be facing a team coming off extra rest, that Buffalo has a chance to race out to a fast start, and that the Bills get to face three west coast teams at home at 1 p.m. What gives us concern is the brutal stretch from Weeks 13 through 16, when Buffalo plays Monday night at San Francisco, Sunday night vs. Pittsburgh, Saturday at Denver, and Monday night at the New England Patriots. Give it a listen!
