In this week’s episode, you’ll hear an interview with two College of DuPage international students from the CCI Program. They will talk about their experiences in transitioning to a new area leading to struggles and success in building a network from minimal connections. We’ll also answer a listener question about using a cover letter in the job search and discuss the NACE competency of Teamwork. 

Topic #1: Rebecca talks about the NACE competency Teamwork. The conversation focuses on building and maintaining collaborative relationships through active listening. 

Topic #2: Pierre interviews two international students from the College of DuPage CCI Program about networking and creating connections from a minimal starting point. Both share their struggles and suggestions to secure internships in a short amount of time as well as provide tips and recommendations any job seeker can use.  

Topic #3: Michelle answers our listener mail question, “Is it necessary to include a cover letter with every application?”
