UPDATED: 3.27PM Mark Weldon has been labelled an intimidating bully by an ex-MediaWorks journalist.
Earlier this morning the 49-year-old announced he was leaving the company after a 20-month stint as CEO, saying the personal cost was too high.
His sudden departure comes just days after the board stated he had its full support despite Hilary Barry's shock resignation.
Former TV3 and 60 Minutes star reporter Sarah Hall joined Chris Lynch this morning for an explosive interview in which she reveals all about outgoing MediaWorks boss Mark Weldon's "bullying" tactics.
She told said her last six months at MediaWorks were hell with him there.
"Every single day there would be people crying the bathrooms. All people talked about was Mark Weldon. There is no doubt in my mind that Hilary Barry did not resign because of some offer from TVNZ, she resigned because of Mark Weldon."
