I've been doing podcasts since the early 2000s - before it was mainstream and way before it was easy. I remember when you needed a "hack" just to get these audio files onto your iPod. (Remember those things?)
It's wild to think about how far it's come. Back then, people thought it was a giant waste of time.
Now, podcasting is arguably the most powerful, dominant form of media of our time.
Here’s why:

Let’s cut to the chase - managing teams and projects can be a huge time suck for results-driven quick-starts like you and me. It just isn’t efficient.
I was talking to Dan Sullivan about this and he shared The 4x4 Method that has the power to move your team beyond traditional management and empower them to take ownership of their roles. With this tool, you can move away from top-down management and create a culture where everyone is a leader and contributor.
The 4x4 Method has four performance metrics with four participation metrics:
KEY TAKEAWAYS
This 4x4 system is a game-changer for building self-managing teams that are accountable and produce real results.

In 1987, Dan set a goal to live until he was 156.
That was ambitious then, but it might not be that ambitious now. Today, we have access to over 750,000 biomarkers that give us real information about what is happening inside our bodies. But the sad truth is, our current medical system is 30 years behind what is actually available - like these biomarker tests.
It’s up to you to go get it and take control over your health.
Dan and I recently shared a 10 minute podcast on how the carnivore diet has helped us both make a 180 in our personal health. We have dropped unnecessary weight, sure, but more importantly, we feel better, have more energy, and our blood tests PROVE WE ARE HEALTHIER.
The tools are available, and taking action could save your life, improve your quality of life, and help you live longer.
Here are THREE key insights Dan shares about what he has done to improve his health and live longer. You can do this, too.

When your gut is messed up, your head is messed up.
I know this first hand because the reality is I’ve never been the same since I had colorectal cancer. I battled years of gut issues, discomfort, and pain. I’ve tried everything you can think of but nothing has worked as well as the Carnivore Diet. It's been a game-changer and a life-saver.
For those who don’t know, the Carnivore Diet is meat only.
Now, I know what you're thinking – all meat, no vegetables? It may sound crazy, but trust me, the benefits are undeniable and I have the blood results to prove it. My cholesterol dropped 20% in 30 days and after 11 months, it has been the single best health hack I have used in 10 years.
Dan has been on the Carnivore Diet for 6 months and experienced amazing results including losing 20lbs (which greatly relieved the pain from his arthritis). With the carnivore diet and stem cell treatments, Dan’s tendons are being regenerated. You can see all these benefits when you look at him, and he is 80 years old!
Here are three ways the Carnivore Diet could help you:

You're making good money but working yourself to death, or worse... you’re a "Poorly Paid Thought Leader" with followers but an empty bank account. Sound familiar?
JJ Virgin and I have worked together for over a decade, and we've both been through the entrepreneurial meat grinder and lived to tell about it.
When I had stage three color-rectal cancer, and went through 33 radiation treatments, I wrote a book, created a course, and the day after my 34th treatment, I spoke at Tony Robbins' Business Mastery. I was 130 pounds, fresh off opiates, and went to get a spray tan so I didn’t look like an alien on stage.
At the same time, JJ’s son was hit by a car and in a coma, right in the middle of launching her Virgin Diet empire. She was battling for her business, but most importantly, her son’s life.
Talk about crisis management!
Here are three golden nuggets from our chat that could save you years of pain:
1. STOP CREATING NEW STUFF: JJ nailed it - entrepreneurs love to create, but hate to sell. When something doesn't work, they create something new instead of fixing what they have. The secret? Create ONE thing, test it with your warm audience, and tweak until it works. If you can't sell it to friends, you won't sell it to strangers.
2. DON'T SCALE TOO SOON: JJ shared how she got burned when The Virgin Diet exploded. She had $500K in shakes ready to ship but no customer service system in place. The result? 300+ angry customer emails on day one while she's sitting next to her son with a coma in the hospital. Scale only after you've got your systems dialed in.
3. BUILD WHAT YOU LOVE (AND DELEGATE THE REST): You CAN build a business doing what you love and very little of what you hate. Why? Because somewhere out there, someone LOVES doing the stuff you hate. Dan Sullivan calls it “The Who. Not How.” Your job is to focus on your genius zone. (And that’s why I run the Superpower Accelerator.)

Converting your ideal client.
Joe Stolte, CEO of Daily Ai, started his career with Fortune 100 companies, like Microsoft, and gained unparalleled insights into what compels customers to buy.
After that, he made three highly successful exits, and now runs an Ai driven email and digital marketing platform called Daily Ai.

In this episode, Dan reveals that he filled 60 notebooks only for them to be washed away in a flood. He could have mourned this, but instead chose to see it as closure to a past era. Mike shares a similar experience where he threw away every box he had after his divorce. These are life changing moments, where one radical act of letting go, either by nature or by choice, transformed both Dan’s life and Mike’s life.
Dan discusses how high achievers struggle with overcoming what seem like small obstacles to many because their attachment to a vision isn’t linked to a measurable, realistic goal. Their vision in general, be it perfection or manufactured by someone else, may not even be “real.” And this can be tragic, and in some cases, fatal.

8 Essential Quotes
"For the happy person. You set a goal, you achieve the goal, and then you measure backwards to where you started and you notice you've made a great deal of progress, and that makes you feel good. Whereas if you do it the other way, you set a goal, you achieve the goal, but then you measure against the ideal that you're supposed to live up to, and it seems to you that you've achieved nothing. And you get depressed and you get disappointed, and in some cases, you can get suicidal over it."
— Dan Sullivan
"It's almost like the parent that the children are leading the parents life, almost like they're being required to shine where their parents didn't shine and everything else. And that's a terrible pressure to have."
