Being asked intrusive questions about your sex life or being denied a ride in a taxi is an experience lots of people will never have to endure. But for Carly Findlay, appearance advocate and author, and others with a facial difference, these instances of discrimination are part of everyday life. But Carly Findlay has GUTS, and she uses these experiences to fight for change. She tells Turia of the uncomfortable ABC interview that went viral on twitter, and the time she took on a taxi company who refused her service, making it all the way to the high commision.
