It's all been a bit hectic, the last few months or so, hasn't it? It's about time that Eli and Paul get back to basics and deliver some solid economy comedy... Just as soon as Eli stops complaining about his new eyes. In fact, it's a bit of a roller coaster for Eli this week as he also receives some good Cup Noodle news and some bad Cup Noodle news. Is this the reason Paul needs to finally pull the plug on all this instant noodle nonsense? There is also a big grab bag of quality tat in this week's "Price of Shite" full of weird and not very wonderful things. Paul and Eli have never had much luck during Halloween. They've been attacked by a pervy hamster, attacked by a crazed fan, spent a long, dull night at a haunted house and was chased through the woods by an axe wielding guest! This year, the Cheap Chaps are going to try and keep it simple. Eli has picked out a few spooky tunes to listen to and Paul has a few paranormal page turners to investigate. It may be a super scary night, but they are both wrapped up warm. However, Paul is expecting someone... and a debt must be repaid! Happy Halloween!

Every now and then on CheapShow, we like to slow things down and just have a good old chat. This week, we have the opportunity to do just that when we welcome comedian and actor Paul Putner on to the podcast! This may not be the “Noodle Special” you expected, but maybe it's the “Noodle Special” you need! This week, CheapShow dedicates a whole episode to the wonder that is the Nissin Cup Noodle instant meal! However, this is not just any old cup noodle episode, it's a very special one as Paul & Eli celebrate the 50th anniversary of Nissin's world-famous portable snack! Thanks to the incredible generosity of our listening audience, CheapShow was very fortunate to get their dirty little hands on the very limited edition "Nissin 50th Anniversary Cup Noodle Soda Pack"! What's inside the pack? Well, apart from the many cup noodles and many flavours, there are also some tasty looking Umaibo sticks and... A range of bottled sodas, flavoured in curry, ramen stock, chili tomato and seafood! Noodle flavoured soft drinks? This can't be a good idea, can it? The 1st generation CheapShow characters have been blown up, stored in a bubble universe, discovered in a mysterious box, buried in a paranormal forest and then escaped from a puzzle packed suitcase... and now they are roaming South London! What's going on? This is meant to be a podcast about celebrating the treasure amongst the trash, not a lore heavy quasi-sitcom? Paul & Eli need answers and decide to go on a safari to hunt these characters down and get some answers! Using "an app" Paul has made to track them, they wander along a river and head to Beckenham Place Park. However, one quick drinking session later and it all goes out the window and descends into loud arguments, an impromptu Gannon's Golden Games, a pathetic snack taste test and a long climb up a small hill. But where are the characters? Only one has the answers, but will Paul & Eli like what they hear? Do they ever?

CheapShow is back at Soho Radio Studios to record another episode with a lovely new guest. Although he's been a fan of the pod for a while, we can't help but feel he isn't ready for the "real thing" and he soon finds himself caught in a torrent of rants, arguments and impromptu new characters. The poor guy!
Ethan Lawrence, from TV shows such as the award winning "Afterlife" on Netflix and C4's "Bad Education" finally joins the economy comedy podcast for games, chat and horrors. He's also brought with him his own curated Price of Shite! Paul & Eli are pitted against each other for high stakes p'twing action, but will they get ANY p'twings at all? Paul has a fun new Gannon's Golden Games that asks a simple question... What Came First? It's not as easy as you may think, and certainly not as easy as Eli thought it was going to be. And speaking of Eli... If he ever offers to tell you his dreams, decline politely and move on with the conversation. Ethan and Paul definitely regret asking him. But how bad can it be?
