USA Today's Bob Nightengale reported that Chicago White Sox owner Jerry Reinsdorf, GM Chris Getz, and manager Pedro Grifol met last Thursday and decided not to fire Grifol despite the team being in the middle of a historic losing streak. Doing that is a sign that leadership thinks it is acceptable to lose this many games in a row.
