When I was a kid, I remember hearing that Catholics “still have Jesus on the cross.” Well the Apostle Paul certainly believes in the resurrection of Christ, but he also says he decided to know nothing but “Christ crucified.” Even as people with the hope of resurrection, could it make all the difference in the world in what kind of religion we have based on whether or not our faith is actually centered/oriented around the crucifixion/the crucified one?
