This program will discuss Chronic Kidney Disease. This activity provides primary care physicians with an evidence-based update on the screening, risk stratification, and pharmacologic management of chronic kidney disease. Learners will review the latest clinical trial data and guideline recommendations — including the KDIGO 2024 guideline, the 2025 VA/DoD CKD guideline, and the ADA 2026 Standards of Care — with emphasis on the practical application of SGLT2 inhibitors, GLP-1 receptor agonists, and nonsteroidal mineralocorticoid receptor antagonists (MRAs) in the primary care setting.
