Margaret Crothers is an advocate with Seniors Rights Service and has an excellent understanding of aged care.  For almost 20 years she has worked for the non-profit community organisation dedicated to ensuring older people in NSW are safe and properly cared for. 

Seniors Rights Service is available to help anyone in NSW who is using, or seeking to access, aged care services. This includes services in your own home as well as residential aged care homes.

You can also contact them if you have questions or concerns about the care of a family member.

Seniors Rights Service helps recipients of aged care services by:

• Listening to your concerns
• Providing information about rights and responsibilities
• Helping resolve problems or complaints with your aged care service providers
• Speaking with your service provider if required
• Referring you to other agencies that can provide additional support, if necessary

Their service is 100% free, independent and confidential.
