The webcast will discuss Clinical Presentations of Substance Intoxication and Withdrawal. This presentation will discuss the clinical presentation of substance intoxication and withdrawal, including alcohol, benzodiazepines, opioids, and stimulants, as well as additional novel substances. The learner will also be provided with a brief overview of the types of illicit drugs leading to intoxication, withdrawal and dependence including the pharmacokinetics, clinical presentation, complications and treatment. This discussion will include stimulants, cannabis, hallucinogens, and other less commonly used illicit substances.
