Ladies and gentlemen, we'd like to introduce the "Race for the Case," a weekly feature here on the Yahoo Sports College Podcast. Each week, Pat and Pete will tape a short and fun prediction podcast geared toward their "Friday Friends" — the group of pals that pops up at the end of each week to seek the advice of our college gridiron experts.

But what are football picks without a little action at stake? Pat and Pete will be competing throughout the season to see who can fill their case with correct picks the fastest. First man to 24 gets a case of beer from the other.
