Check out part II of this episode!
We’ve been raised in a world that tells us to stop crying, feel better and not feel our feelings. What’s the impact of that? My guest Kara Baruzzini talks about how this leads to us feeling like “there’s a dormant volcano inside of you” and that can lead to explosions in our relationships, or in the case of “commitment phobes,” it can lead to running away.
Kara shares how to use embodiment as a practice to let ourselves feel our feelings, trust ourselves, feel empowered and be able to hold space for others to feel our feelings too.
In a world where we’re used to figuring everything out in our mind, Kara is a magical being who learned how to work on herself through the body first as a yoga and movement instructor. Tune in to listen to how you can connect to your body’s inner wisdom and be with and move through emotions you might be uncomfortable with or think are “wrong.”
Some things we talk about:
-How break ups lead to healing and awakening and self-love.
-How pain is a great motivator to take action in life.
-Kara’s journey as a yoga teacher and embodiment coach.
-How the tantric philosophy changed Kara’s life.
-The magic of “bottom-up” healing and how it’s completely different than what we’ve been taught to do to experience our emotions.
This episode includes a free guided embodiment exercise led by Kara!
Kara Baruzzini is a lightworker relaying ancient wisdom into a modern context. She lives to encourage people to move in the direction of self-healing through embodiment, inner child work, and yoga.
