Mammoth Resources (TSX-V: MTH) is a precious metal mineral exploration Company focused on acquiring and defining precious metal resources in Mexico and other attractive mining friendly jurisdictions in the Americas. The Company holds a 100% interest in the 5,333 hectare Tenoriba gold property located in the Sierra Madre Precious Metal Belt in southwestern Chihuahua State, Mexico. 

Mammoth Resources are preparing to initiate a drill programme at the Tenoriba property. In the Sierra Madre region of Mexico the property is surrounded by multi million ounce deposits owned by multi million dollar companies and Mammoth Resources believes that their project could be another one of these lucrative deposits.

Mammoth Resources acquired the asset in 2012 from another Canadian junior company which had produced some good data from their first few drill holes at the property. Mammoth didn’t do any further work in the first couple of years but has now completed extensive sampling over a 7km trend with 1000 samples, soil geo-chemistry and some drilling.

The previous partner, Centerra Gold has pulled out of Mexico completely as of September 2020, having spent $1.2m on this project. Mammoth Resources has raised and spent $4m and the predecessors spent about $1.5m on the project. Mammoth Resources has a market cap of $6.5m and have spent the last 5-6 years working on this project.

After Centerra left in September, Mammoth has advanced the work on the permit process. They have the drill permit in place, and have surface agreements with two local communities to enable them to drill. They have extended the geo-chemistry for another kilometre and have advanced the infill geo-physics survey leading to the drill targets and have a 50 hole drill programme forthcoming.

They now need to raise some capital to fund the drill programme and are interested in potential mergers with other junior companies or involvement with a major company like Centerra Gold.

Altius Minerals Corporation is a mining royalty and mineral project generation company. The Company is engaged in the generation and acquisition of mineral resource projects, royalties and investments. The royalty interests cover mining operations producing copper, zinc, nickel, cobalt, precious metals, potash, and thermal (electrical) and metallurgical coal.

Altius holds royalty interests in approximately 10 producing assets in Canada that include over 4% net smelter return (NSR) royalty on 777 copper-zinc mine in Manitoba, approximately six potash mines and over five coal mines located in western Canada, and a royalty on the Bay nickel-copper-cobalt mine in Labrador, as well as interests in the Chapada Mine in Brazil. It also holds equity interests in non-precious metals royalty companies, as well as various junior mineral exploration companies.

Superior Gold Inc. is a Canadian based gold producer that owns and operates 100% of the Plutonic Gold operations located in the world-class goldfields of Western Australia. The Plutonic Gold operations include the Plutonic underground gold mine and central mill, numerous open-pit projects including the Plutonic Main Pit push-back project, the Hermes open pit projects and an interest in the Bryah Basin joint venture. The Plutonic mine has been in continuous production since 1990 and, having produced ~6 million ounces of gold, is one of Western Australia's largest historic gold producers. 

Superior Gold bought the Plutonic asset in 2017 from Northern Star and are conducting a turnaround, with respect to getting the operation going again. They are focused on several different areas including an underground operation producing Gold, new open pits and an opportunity for a second mill and then on to finding the next big discovery. 

Superior Gold has gone back to basics with respect to the geology and the mine, and they have had quarter-on-quarter improvements but in Q1 had a jump in production level which shows that the asset can produce a significant amount of free cashflow going forward. Production in Q1 was just over 17,600oz which is the best it has been for quite a while at Platonic. 

There is a drill rig dedicated to exploration underground and by mid-year a second drill rig is coming in for infill drilling at surface. There is opportunity to uncover both an excellent underground operation with exploration upside and also a brand-new open-pit surface plan which has the ability to turn this story very quickly.

Windfall Geotech as a technology company has spent the last 15-years in the base metals exploration sector, using a combination of data science and machine learning to try to extract drill targets based on public and proprietary data. Windfall independently produces resource targets to de-risked a drill programme and aims to identify targets to add value to existing projects and locate new projects.

Windfall Geotek now also has a landmine detection component to their company and have partnered with a company called Dragonfly, which is a drone provider that is servicing the US Military. They are working with them to develop an operational product that can take their algorithm with their autonomous drones and deploy them into operation or in theatre operations in the Middle East, Eastern Europe, Ukraine, and other locations. They are working with NATO and the Canadian government to try to secure project funding to do a field trial.

Windfall aims to generate returns rather than revenue and the key thing is that Windfall is getting involved in companies pre- RTO, pre-IPO and when they go public, Windfall will generate the projects, raise the cash and funnel that cash into new projects.
