The legendary Comrades Marathon is back for the 96th edition, yes still in Durbs and yes, still 90km but this time we get to help you prepare for it! 

In this first episode of the Comrades Marathon Limited Series, we speak to the familiar SuperSports commentary voice of the Ultimate Human Race, Cuan Walker, and it would seem that he was born for the job…

Cuan shares stories of how his name became synonymous with South African running and more specifically, the Ultra Marathon that stole his heart and had him bunking school to be a part of the action from age 12 already.

Cuan has been dubbed “a walking encyclopaedia” on all facts running, he has a knack for remembering a set of results and knows the race inside out!

He is the perfect person to get you hyped for what’s to come along the down route from Pietermaritzburg to Durban.

The extent of his running expertise doesn’t end there though, Cuan has enjoyed close friendships with many elite athletes, had a hand in bringing up some of South Africa’s most talented runners through with his work with the Mr Price Sport Maxed Elite Athletes and was even part of the team who flew over to China in search of the perfect Carbon Shoe that is both effective and affordable (the Elite High Racer, now available to purchase at Mr Price Sport).
