We see the before and afters and the wins and all the wonderful things people share about their health or business or life transformations. And it's great! But in the spirit of staying true to me, I wanna be real with you and share the shitty parts. I want to help you acknowledge, understand, and embrace the suck that comes with making a change. Hint: It's going to happen, so you might as well be prepared!
Share with me your biggest takeaways and after you've listened, what are the 3 baby steps you're willing to take on your worst days?

If you feel like this has helped you, let's let more moms know they're not alone and leave a review wherever you're listening!
Always grateful.
What up?! I'm so excited for you to listen to this one! Sharing honestly about this one thing that has truly helped me continue to move toward my goals and STOP QUITTING. My "secret sauce" if you will. It's all about expectations and the bar we set for ourselves. Change is HARD. And we don't like hard. But if we expect it it be hard, we're less likely to quit. So rather than set these goals and think that everything is going to go perfectly and smoothly, lower the bar. Embrace the suck. Know it's temporary. And just. keep. going. One baby step at a time. This is where the joy comes from friends.
I used to resist structure and felt like discipline stuck me in a box. Until I finally sucked it up and stuck with it - starting with my food, but soon trickled into most other areas of my life. If you resist change and planning because it feels like too much, take a listen and see if you can start to shift that mindset to one of opportunity. What if a short time planning and preparing could ease your mind and decrease your stress? Would that be worth it to you?
Lots of food planning chat, but this also applies to school, business, and LIFE.

I feel like we'd be hard pressed to find a mom out there who hasn't felt the pressure to lose the baby weight - and as fast as possible at that. This idea that our bodies are just something to look at and that our physical appearance determines our value and worth as a human is complete bullshit. There are millions of reasons why you are worthy that have nothing to do with your body.
I share honestly about my own insecurities and history with my body image and some of the damaging thoughts and tactics I used when I thought that being skinny was the only thing people liked about me. Be mindful of your own thoughts and emotions and if this sensitive topic triggers you in anyway, hit stop and come back when it doesn't feel so hard. My inbox is also always open to listen <3
It doesn't have to be this way. Is it hard? Of course, but feeling at peace with your body may be one of the best things I've ever done for myself.
Listen to the end for some questions you can think about or journal on and some non physical compliments you can share with your friends or even complete strangers! Shine bright my friend!

I'd love it if you would leave a review through whichever platform you're listening so we can help spread the word!
We are bombarded with a constant stream of content about what to eat, what not to eat, how to lose the weight fast, and burn the most calories, all in the name of being physically "physically" appealing. These restrictive boxes often lead to this idea that we're inherently good or bad depending on what we eat. It leads to this black and white thinking that if we're not "on the wagon" then we're off of it and there's no in between. We feel like we have to label who we are by the kinds of foods we eat or workouts we do.
As a partner with a large health and fitness company, I didn't want to be a part of this diet culture mentality. It's become my mission to introduce you to the middle ground; where labels don't dictate what you eat, you use food as fuel, and eating feels effortless. It starts by taking radical responsibility for our choices, our goals, and the tools we use to reach them.
I would love to hear what your biggest takeaway was and hear your thoughts - I would love it if you left a review so I can know what strikes a chord for you and how to help you more in upcoming episodes.
