We now have a movement whose members think that they can sit back, watch Fox News, and vote for the most prominent Republicans the system wants them to know about every two years – expecting things to change. I explain why nothing is changing, and in fact, we are sliding backward. We need to return to bottom-up self-government, and that begins in red states. Today, we spotlight the case study of Idaho with state Rep. Heather Scott, the co-chair of the Idaho Freedom Caucus. She explains how Idaho has the same corporate cartel problem as California, albeit with different lipstick on the pig. If we continue to sit back and do nothing, just assuming the state is red and Republican, we will not have a single red state left. Scott notes how the addiction to federal funding is the kryptonite of red states and how we need a small and active group of citizens to bring back self-government to oppose this addiction. The Freedom Caucus is now working on systemic government reform ideas that will address the core factors that perpetuate the GOP’s controlled opposition and failure theater.

There is nothing new under the sun. Today, I offer the only authentic and long view on the Iowa caucus results. What happened last night is part of a pattern that has existed for generations. Even much weaker and less inspirational RINO incumbents always win their primaries by even bigger margins than Trump. If Fox News, with the help of liberal media, the party apparatus, and the donors, wants a man, it gets him – every single time. The system wanted Trump over DeSantis and got it. If this was really about a populist insurgency, then we would see mini-Trumps winning up and down the ballot, but instead we are worse off on that front than ever before.

Regardless of what happens in Iowa, our movement has become a listless vessel that has no fixed beliefs or sense of direction. We drift along with the grift like a rudderless boat. I go through the latest news with Trump attacking Vivek and how it is emblematic of the entire fake movement. I also explain why Trump is a controlled opposition within a controlled opposition to neutralize the hard right so that we will never have an effective movement to fight back against the uniparty. There is a reason Trump is racking up the endorsements from the very status quo members of Congress who are selling us out on every issue. No matter what happens with this primary, we will have to deal with the damage of a movement that has become susceptible to being hijacked by slick-talking political pirates.

It’s either new leadership or a new party. If we continue the status quo, Republicans will continue to screw us even on issues on which we are clearly successfully exposing the Left. I explain how on spending, immigration, and COVID vaccines, we have enough information to crush the Left, yet Republicans will never fight for us because they are beholden to their donors. Later on, we’re joined by South Carolina state Rep. Jordan Pace, a member of the state Freedom Caucus, who tells us how they successfully defeated a leadership effort to block their amendments. More than in any other state, the South Carolina Freedom Caucus has developed its own brand and is acting as an independent party within the party to eventually overthrow the Republicans in name only. Regardless of what happens in the presidential primary, the South Carolina Freedom Caucus is the way forward.

Nikki Haley will never be the nominee for president, but her worldview is still the dominant one down the ballot among almost every GOP governor, senator, and even state legislator. Today, I go through the treachery of Republicans on both the state and federal levels to show how we have failed to move the party over on a single issue of substance since the much-vaunted MAGA revolution. Red states are still controlled by the education, health care, cheap labor, and child-care cartels, and the elected Republicans continue to serve them. It’s just that they got smarter and distract us with mendacious rhetoric. In fact, Trump has made it worse for us because he has now incentivized a movement of Republicans who think and act like Nikki Haley to continue screwing us but use fake feisty rhetoric, distractions, and fealty to Trump as a loincloth to cover their betrayal.

We can continue passing around studies on how many people the shots kill. But at some point, we must realize that nothing will change on its own. We don’t have a political movement to take this information and turn this winning issue into a policy victory. Ditto for the border invasion as well. We need to be emotionally prepared for the fact that our government is purposely maximizing the pain on our safety, liberty, and economy through anarcho-tyranny. Today, I show how easily the government turns on and off the faucet of law enforcement depending on the outcome. It persecutes J6 defendants and those who exercise self-defense against the cartels as it gives a reprieve to invaders, criminal aliens, gangbangers, and Hamas rioters. I go through the Ray Epps sentencing document to drive home this point. Also, Biden is purposely allowing the Houthis to block shipping lanes in order to raise the cost of all vital goods. Later on, we’re joined by Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.), who is on the road from Iowa to Washington. He offers the most in-depth contrast between Trump and DeSantis in terms of their abilities as an executive to govern and achieve our outcomes. His observations are all based on real facts and real records of the two candidates. Massie is hard to please, but he explains why DeSantis has won over his heart and his brain.

When America goes to hell in a handbasket, just know that it didn’t have to be this way. For my entire life, the conservative movement focused on people rather than ideas, distracting us with nonsense at the expense of achievable victories. I tie this into Mike Johnson’s budget betrayal and why Republicans don’t fear a reprisal from the Right. Trump not only failed to change the party but has actually moved the party to the left by allowing fealty to his personality to forgive acts of policy betrayal. We also go through the history of Trump and immigration and how he is responsible for the invasion every bit as much as he is for COVID fascism. We also delve into biblical qualities for leadership prescribed in Exodus 18:21 and how they perfectly correlate with Ron DeSantis. We have a choice. It doesn’t have to be this way.

Everything that ails our movement today stems from the fact that we are led by celebrities, not leaders. If we had a modicum of grounded leadership, we’d be running up the score in the red states and pressuring House Republicans to fight on the budget. I give the examples of crime and medical freedom as two issues we can really advance in red state legislatures. I also discuss how the job market is terrible and how we are being replaced by foreign workers, an idea supported by people like Elon Musk. Finally, we tackle the problem of false choices on the Right, most evidently in how we approach Israel.
