At least, that’s what I’ve been told. Hi, I’m Greg. I am the host of the Corn Nation Overreaction and my DVR stopped recording yesterday’s Nebraska-Rutgers game at the fourth quarter two-minute timeout. Nebraska was leading 14-7 at that time.
Did they hold on to win?
Well, you may be happy to know that the Cornhuskers have won their fifth game of the season, and it only took six games. (Insert appropriate response here.)
Tonight on the Overreaction show, I will be joined by Hoss and Jake to discuss all things from the Rutgers game. Notably, that defense that seemed to will the way to the win. It’s the only FBS defense that has not given up a rushing touchdown this season (although I know that by talking about it, bad things are sure to happen after this). But it’s not just that stat. We have other receipts.
Offensively, the running game plan seemed to be a hindrance and it took away from some truly special players utilizing their speed at the perimeter. But the Huskers found a way to A) win and 2) not lose!
I’m happy. Are you happy?
