A week later, and we still can’t get over that Gonzaga game. The environment in the Marriott center last Saturday was unmatched in college basketball. We’ll talk to two of the guys that help made it happen, Jason and Bradley the president and vice-president of the ROC student section. Then look ahead to the weird new schedule of the WCC tournament, but not before giving the final opponent of the regular season their due with Al Epstein of the Pepperdine Waves broadcast team. The AP Number 2 and presumptive 1 seed in the NCAA tournament is in Provo tonight. And the Bulldogs are pulling a crowd. We'll talk to the Zags' play-by-play guy Tom Hudson about the most storied program in the WCC and what coming to the Marriott Center will mean for both teams. We know the crowd will be loud based just on the tents outside the stadium (and looping toward campus, you better get in line now) so let's discuss some of the tailgating and fan traditions around college sports. After a successful trip to LA on Thursday, BYU plays in San Diego today and is hoping for another record breaking result. The Cougars knocked down 18 threes on their way to victory against LMU and we talk about other crazy sports records. BYU Basketball faces the second leg in their three game revenge tour tonight at the Marriott Center against the Dons. Gonzaga, you’re next. In between, the Cougars will head to sunny southern California to face Loyola Marymount. Their Athletic Director Craig Pintens comes on the program to talk about his journey in sports and the exciting current state of the WCC. BYU basketball spent the week getting ready for two northern California opponents. After a win pulling away against Pacific on Thursday, all eyes are on the Dons. Today on the Cougar Tail Gate you get to know the history and story behind both teams on the Cougs schedule. Which is the only WCC school with a National Championship banner in their rafters? Conference play started with a bang. Today on the tailgate Sydney and Cole react to overtime in Moraga and what BYU Basketball will be without Yoeli Childs for the next few weeks. They also look forward on the WCC schedule and talk what it will take for three teams to make it to the NCAA tournament. Another week has passed in BYU Basketball with two more victories to add to the win column. Now preparations are for Utah St. If the fight song is familiar it's because football was already successful this year against the Aggies and we are hoping for a similar result in basketball today.
