Every Thursday afternoon Banks Peninsula farmers head to the beach to ride waves and forget about work. Cosmo meets farmer and surf coach Kristen Savage who runs the Surfing for Farmers initiative at Hickory Bay and Sally is in the paddock with Manawatū stock manager Sarah Maxwell who's bringing lots of new ideas to the family farm.
