  • 60 - Pain & PTSD with Chana Studley

Here is a little bit about Chana:

Chana Studley recovered from severe #PTSD after 3 violent attacks in the UK and spent the next 25 years combining a very successful Academy Award Winning career in Hollywood with coaching and counseling people with trauma, addictions, and relationship problems.

After graduating from 'The One Thought' Institute in 2018 she noticed that her 25 years of #chronicpain had completely gone and so conducted research to discover if she could reproduce this experience in others.

Following the success of 5 case studies, she developed a program called 'Painless' and is now helping clients worldwide with all kinds of health issues and working with doctors and clinicians to introduce them to the 'Three Principles'.

Most recently she has started working with people with #LongCovid and is having great success in helping them get back to their innate health. Chana is a World Health Organisation Psychological First Responder an international speaker and author.

She has a Diploma in Psychology and is a certified Life Coach with 30 years of experience.

Chana's first book, 'The Myth of Low Self Esteem' – a novel about PTSD, Hollywood, and healing came out in 2019 and her second, 'Painless', a novel about chronic pain and the Mind-Body connection was published in 2021.

Her next novel, 'Very Well', all about hormones, will be out later this year.

  • 54 - Ask Charli Anything

This was an example of an Ask Me Anything session that I do in my Circle Community which was live-streamed into my free Facebook Community, The Freedom Group

The ladies sent their questions to me, and during this free session, I got time to answer 3 of the questions that came in, which you can see below.

PLEASE JOIN MY CIRCLE OF WOMEN HERE

    1. Kelley: "How do you stop worrying about everyone else so much and focus more on yourself? How do you learn to love yourself? (is that in the freedom programme that I need to revisit?) xx"
    2. Magda: What is 'The Three Principles' take on motivation, specifically around exercise? How come sometimes it lasts long (months) and then it's not there at all Thank you, Charli x"
    3. Anon - "I was hoping for some words of support and advice this morning - I am peri-menopausal (currently in winter and not yet on HRT) and today I have been struggling with red mist so much. I feel tired, emotional and angry and really do not want to parent right now (in that I can't seem to cope with parenting on a daily basis). I am trying to allow the feelings and not judge, even when I take it out on the children. I circled back and apologised and used it as a teaching and learning moment for us all but I just feel tired of it all and really need some advice about how to navigate it when my hormones are playing havoc."

I only got time for these 3 questions during this session, but as you all know I always answer a question of the week, so please feel free to send them to me at [email protected] if you would like me to speak to something, OR join my Circle Community where you will get access to much more of me in this kind of format.

  • 53 - "LOVE ALWAYS WINS" with 'Our Mental Health Rocks'

Courage Dear Heart Meets 'Our Mental Health Rocks' with Julie Brown & James Abbott who work with young people and teens.

One of the questions I get asked the most from my community is a variation of, "How can I help my child/ daughter/ son?" or, "Can you work with my child/ daughter/ son?"

Whilst I would love to be able to help EVERYONE, my preferred human to work with is with women.

So I thought I would create a podcast series to interview my colleagues who specifically work with young people and children.

In this episode I chatted with Julie and James from 'OUR MENTAL HEALTH ROCKS'

"Julie and James are Mental Health experts on a mission to revolutionise the way Mental Health is understood and taught in schools, the workplace, in life!

Nobody is broken. You can not break a human being.

You can, however, misunderstand your moment-to-moment experience of life.

You can feel your experiences so strongly that you get entangled in your thought/feeling-led-perception, and at times believe there are no other options available.

By helping people, young, old, personally and professionally, understand how they work, you can find an easier way to experience and navigate your life.

YOU can experience every single struggle you have in life, with more ease"

As with all my podcast episode's, this was live-streamed into my Facebook Community, The Freedom Group

Here is the link to the help sheet that Julie mentioned: OMHR Self-Harming help sheet
