Cousins on Crime

It was a typical Summer evening in Pensacola, Florida, in 1983. A group of friends gathered for dinner when suddenly, a loud explosion rocked the city streets. Who knew that a car bombing would unravel a twisted, tangled web of lies and mysterious deaths that would all lead back to one, deranged woman.

Reshma James was taking a break from her failing marriage; finding refuge with her family and a new church. She was just finding the space to think clearly when her life was cut short, along with another member of her church. In the end, a tragedy that shook a tight-knit community would eventually turn into the blessing that no one could have imagined.

In 1977, a young graduate student was found naked and beaten on the main stage in the campus theatre. With little to go on, the case quickly turned cold, and despite numerous reopenings over the decades, we still have no answers.
Can you solve this mystery?

It's been three years since Summer Wells vanished from her family home without a trace. There has been much speculation about what could have happened to the little blonde haired, blue eyed five year old, but with all the information that we have today, there are still so many questions left unanswered.

In the Spring of 2021, the global pandemic was in full swing; leaving everyone uncertain about what the future might hold. In the UK, a COVID lockdown was put in place to help slow the spread of the virus and keep people safe from harm. For Sarah Everard, even social distancing couldn't shield her from another form of evil that lurked right around the corner.

In Part 1 of The Yosemite Serial Killer: Cary Stayner, we discussed Cary's little brother Stephen and how he turned his personal tragedy into a way to help other and do some healing of his own.

In this episode, we talk about how Cary Stayner lived with a dark force that clouded his mind and made his murderous fantasies come to life.

This is the story of how trauma can either catapult a victim into endless hopelessness or down a path of purpose and fulfillment. In Part 1, we discuss how a survivor was molded by tragedy, to do good. But, lurking in the periphery of his life, was a festering darkness that would spiral out of control and give way to a murderer.

UPDATE: Seraya has been located safely in Mexico and has been returned home to her mother! Her father, Aaron Aung, has been detained and Nadia Cole has been returned to her family. Details about what will become of both of them remain to be seen, but we'll update as soon as we know something!

****
June 3, 2024, Samara Harmon waited patiently for her ex, Aaron Aung, to drop off their bubbly, 2-year-old daughter, Seraya; but he never showed. Samara soon learned that Aaron's fiancée, Nadia Cole, was reported missing by her parents when she failed to board an international flight for a family vacation days before. Did she willingly help Aaron flee with his daughter and where are they now?

The information that has been reported on this case has left us with far more questions than answers and time is of the essence to find this little.

If you have any information about the whereabouts of Seraya Aung Harmon, Aaron Aung, or Nadia Cole, please contact 509-334-0822; or call the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI (800-225-5324); you can also email the Pullman Police Department at [email protected]

When you think of Anchorage, Alaska, you probably think of expansive views and gorgeous, snow-topped mountains. Sadly, since 2019, Anchorage has been trying to recover from one of the most horrific crimes the city has ever seen.

CeCe Hoffman was a 19-year-old girl with an exciting future ahead of her, despite having a developmental disability. She was under the impression that her best friend, Denali Brehmer, was taking her on a hike, but Denali had a murderous plan that would leave so many lives changed forever.

Sarah Anne Walker was a top selling real estate agent for DR Horton Homes in Collin County, Texas. She was bubbly and energetic and tackled work the way she did everything; with an upbeat and positive attitude. But on July 8, 2006 her life ended when a predator stabbed her over 30 times. Thanks to eye witnesses and DNA, her killer would be caught and held accountable.
