Today on MedNet21, we’re going to discuss COVID-19 Impact on Pediatrics. Viewer’s will learn about social emotional wellbeing of children and adolescents during the COVID-19 pandemic. Viewers will learn about how quality of life and loneliness was affected over the first year of the pandemic. Viewers will also learn about facilitators and barriers to maintaining quality of life and social/emotional well-being for children during and beyond the pandemic. 

Learners will know about acute COVID symptoms and learn about post COVID symptoms that are prevalent in the adolescent population. They will learn about how we are managing these symptoms in the pediatric pulmonary clinic and what other subspecialties are also helpful for these patients.
