Crappy Anime Showdown

LETS DO THE TIME WARP AGAIN!!! Well actually its more like the time butthole but I digress. Scarlet Nexus comes in blazing hot in this episode chock full of absolutely ridiculous political nonsense and a plot more convoluted that the After Earth movie. Drugstore tries to not pull any punches as our heroic pharmacist enters the sport fixing and arms dealing world. What a treat we are all in for! Finally some truly creepy anime!

Now I know what you are thinking. That by leading with that quote is am validating not only this weeks anime but all of the anime that we watch on this show. I have but one rey to that. ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?!?! Absolutely not!! Did you even read last weeks description at all. Go read that right now. I will wait.

That is a quote I can get behind. Basically all anime is bad with very few exceptions and even fewer bright spots. (See above quote for example of exception) These anime are definitely not one of those bright spots. In any case we here at CAS do appreciate your continued support and promise to keep chugging through this muck so hopefully you do not have to!

We have an anime about the genocide of an inferior race vs an anime where the relatable smart nerd is good at video games and therefore good at actual combat. I sure do wish that was the case in real life. Then maybe my many hours of Monster Hunter would mean I am prepared in the event the Mila Jokovich movie comes true. In any vase is hope you enjoy!

Sometimes there re weeks in which the anime we watch fill us with delight with how funny and bad they re proving to all of us that this whole podcast idea is worth it! This week is the complete opposite unfortunately. However we here at Crappy Anime Showdown are as committed as ever to bring you high quality commentary and G-Dang-it that is exactly what we will do. So prepare to be transported to another Isekai and to be lulled by the mystery of Vampires in this weeks episode!

Imagine a world where Vince Giligan was writing a show about an everyday school teacher turned pharmacist in which the main character Walter was only trying to help people. Then imagine that staring you in the face was the entire plot of Breaking bad but it was in the subtext. That is what we had the privilege of watching this week. Well that a a huge pile of generic trash in which all the worlds terrible traumatic problems are solved by the power of friendship. Yup you read that right. So please come for crappy anime but stay for the Breaking Bad spinoff!

Season 5 is somehow here folks!! I don't which ones of you keep asking for this or in that same vein which of you keep supporting terrible anime so that it constantly gets made but I am imploring you too stop! Ok please don't actually do that. Until the day all bad anime is removed from this earth we will be your vanguard slowly make our way through the slop to bring you only the finest commentary. We hope you enjoy this season even more than the last!

I do not believe that I could articulate how incredibly bad and fun our bonus anime, Record of Ragnarok, is. Oh wait, I literally do that in this episode. Pay me no mind, as my brain has become addled with bad anime syndrome and sometimes I lose my self in needlessly oversized boobs and perverted MC's. I think I may need help, but in the mean time I will try the old hair of the dog trick where I never stop consuming bad anime so that I do not ever have to face myself for doing so. The Rundown has commenced!! It is time to talk trash on all the....well trash. Does any anime avoid our or are they all equally guilty of being a blight on humanity? whispers they are all guilty! Nonetheless it is a whale of a time picking through each terrible plot and vile subplot so please take off your shoes and get comfortable.

Well besides a champion and an end to this ridiculous season, and some absolutely absurd anime moments, not too much. To be honest though if you are asking for more than that you are a little greedy and I like the cut of your jib. We will do better every episode because of you!
