  • "Keeping Real Estate Simple" with Clinton Sippel

This is the creating Queensland podcast, today I speak with Clinton Sippel, CEO of Couture Realty.

I am Jessica Reynolds, host of this podcast and director of Urban Planners Queensland, a private town planning consultancy based in Brisbane.

I love working with people, but being in the property and development industry I find the human element

    is sometimes lost.

So I created this podcast, as a platform to share the career stories and ideas of interesting people I have come across in the Queensland

Each episode is a casual chat of around 20 minutes where a range of topics are discussed.

If you know someone that has a great story or ideas to share, you can find me on linkedIn. Jessica Reynolds, urban planner.

    This is episode 15

Clinton started Couture Realty 4 years ago and has built the company up from working in his apartment to the successful business it is today.

I wanted to interview Clinton because when he first started contacting me for planning advice, he would have a bouquet of flowers delivered to me if it wasn’t to become a new project. I really appreciated that, because being a young business owner myself, I was at the time, often used and abused by agents shopping around for free advice. It’s something small but I appreciated the difference.

In this episode Clinton takes us through his career, thoughts on the real estate industry and advice for negotiating with sellers and agents.

This is Episode 15! Don’t forget to leave a review when you finish. Please Enjoy!

  • "The Uber of the Construction Industry" with Michael Shekell of Builder Brokers

If you know someone that has a great story or ideas to share, you can find me on LinkedIn. Jessica Reynolds, urban planner.

This is episode 12! In this episode I speak with Michael Shekell who is one half of Builder Brokers, a company only founded a couple of years ago which is seeing massive growth not only in Queensland but nation wide.

This is not one of my normal interviews where we talk about career and ideas as such, it is more of a business podcast about what Builder Brokers do and where they are going. I am fascinated by this company and as Michael explains to me what they are trying to achieve is the “Uber of the construction industry”

Put it this way, when we ended our interview a nearby property professional handed Michel a business card. I expect many more to reach out after listening.

    This is Episode 12,  enjoy!
